However, I was brought to the States when I was eight months old; therefore, I have no memory of Mexico. We settled in Grantsville City in Tooele County. With no other family members, I didn't get to see the traditions of Mexican culture. There is a certain feeling that is difficult to explain how traveling makes me feel. I love stopping in a diner in a random town, meeting different people, and listening to their life stories. My favorite memory so far from traveling would be from last year. I had planned a secret trip; then, I woke up my wife at 4:00 in the morning. I told her to pack her bags because I was taking her on a spontaneous trip somewhere she had no idea where we were going; we ended up going to Glenwood Springs, CO. I love being in the woods with no technology and a small backpack with limited supplies. I have sometimes taken this hobby to clear my head—A place where I can feel safe. Sitting next to the fire on a gloomy day during the gray hour is very comforting. Making friends was pretty complex, so to spend my time, I would target practice every day for my past time as a child. We used to rent a spot to sell at the swap meet, and my parents would buy me a case of sodas that I could sell to the people shopping. I think they did it because, in my culture, they started teaching the boys to work early; regardless, I would sell everything and buy a cheap airsoft pistol from another vendor. During the week, I would spend hours target practicing and shooting until it broke then I would work for another one.
