Topic Sentence 2: In Romeo and Juliet, because of of their children's death, the families decide to be friendly towards each other for their now gone son and daughter.

Topic Sentence 3: In both of these, Hosseini exposes this thesis more than Shakespeare. Hosseini shows this as a journey, and Shakespeare represents this as a act to avenge their son and daughter.

Thesis: In literature, hero’s are defined as brave, all mighty, the classic superhuman, however Hosseini breaks all those stereotypes in the Kite Runner. He bases the novel around a anti-hero, Amir which is similar yet different to Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, which is based on the tragic hero, Romeo. Both of these character are able to define all odds of the typical protagonist however, the anti-hero by Hosseini is considerably more of a normal person with realistic concerns, compared to Romeo who lives in a sort of fantasy world where everything must go in his way. 
  1. Hosseini relates Amir more into the real world, discussing about real life issues and conflicts which makes the character much more personable however, it also  brings out the cowardliness and selfishness inside of Amir. Not sugarcoating or hiding the inevitable truth of these emotions. 
  2.   In shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, a tragic love story, Romeo lives in his own world, where he can goes off loving someone and run away from the consequences, in order to have the clique ending of the guy and the girl. 
  3.   In Romeo and Juliet and The Kite Runner both of the main characters are portrayed in a different light, even though both Amir and Romeo can be considered as heroes the authors have a different way to expressing it through an anti-hero and a tragic hero.
