Then his father left becuase he was not ready to raise a kid. His mother did her best, but Kevin often stayed with his Grandma becuase his mother would work long over night shifts. They started to take Kevin to a recreational center where he took interest in basketball and was asked to be on a team. The first game he played he score 25 points. From there it was only the start there. He would be the best player on the court every time he played. His only critique was that he was passive sometimes becuase he didn't want to be a ballhog. He kept playing basketball and working harder to get better. He grinding till he was first recruited very young by Texas. He went to couple of different highschools but ended at Oak Hill where many great basketball players have played. He played through highschool and went to Texas because they were the first to recruit him. He played one season there and declared for the NBA draft. He had a very good season and won a lot of awards but team was not overly successful. Kevin was selected 2nd in the NBA draft behind Greg Oden. He won rookie of the year but Super Sonics were not real successful. The team would go though some rough seasons till drafting Russell Westbrook and James Harden. The team also relocated to Oklahoma City and changed to the Thunder. With the big 3 they had they were much more successful they were in Finals where they played the Heat and lost. The team traded James Harden and the team wasn't as good. It starts around age 3 or 4 they goes till he is about 28 or 29. He was a very loyal person caring for who took care of him first. He didn't so this when he left the Thunder for  the Warriors. 
Micheal Beasley- He was one of Kevin's first friends. He would play basketball together and study film together because they knew they were very talented. He was in his teens when he comes into the story.
Wanda Durant- Is Kevin Durants Mom and she was very important because she always supported Kevin. The Sonics relocated to Oklahoma City. He was going through hard times and didn't see his Dad. Every college would have loved to have him. He choose Texas because they were interested in him first and he choose them becuase they were first. This is a person vs self conflict. This was a decision that was all to him self. 
Kevin's coaches are telling him that he is too passive and he should shoot more. He didn't want to seem like a ball hog. This is a Person vs Self conflict.
