Now that she has experienced school by herself, she feels as if she is not getting the right type of learning at school. She claims to love reading and writing, and being good at it. However, because of Miss Caroline's perspective towards the education system, she has to adapt to the grade she is in. Her abilities have to match the place where she's at right now. Scout wishes her progress/advanced skills would be facilitated instead of being forced to slow down.

People just assumed the worst things about them by just watching them and criticizing them with no actual truth. One can see that the truth was unknown and not taken into account, but perspective led to rumors and negative viewing of the Radleys with no actual factual evidence. If taken into account perspective had led to legends and myths which were not comparable to the actual truth. The community of Maycomb has not been able to differentiate truth and perspective which affects how the Radleys are seen and describeda s.

It is obvious how people from an event where Boo Radley hurt his father, that there was something wrong with the family. The information provided from Miss Stephanie Crawford, a neighborhood scold, suggests that most of the events that happened were not true. The story and evidence of the event that had occurred also shows the perspective of the Maycomb community, and little truthful facts on what had actually happened that day. People began to assume things that had not actually happened, in which we can see how throughout the years actual events are not known, but only fragments are left and it is more perspective than truth. It is shown that the perspective of Miss Stephanie Crawford is not actual facts, but only passed down recollections of events, and she had seen nothing of the event.

Atticus does not let his perspective alter the reality and truth. He is a very understanding person who teaches very big moral lesson to the rest of the Maycomb community to not judge based on what you see, but to understand what is actually going on. From experience he has learned to always put himself in others shoes to not rely on his perspective and evidence but also see what goes on in another's person shoes. He is very understanding and always wants people to not speak and gossip unless it is the truth and not influenced by perspective. Atticus is able to understand others and gives examples of his wisdom, when he speaks for those that are in actual need or he knows the actual events and actions which lead toward ignorance. He is very kept to himself and always observes making his conclusions with evidence and truth. Although he uses his perspective at times he does not share it with others but instead makes inferences corroborated with actual evidence.

Present Day, there is conflict between theorists and scientists who lash against religion and faith. Scientists believe in actual physical things while religion depicts spirituality and a mighty being that is not visible but cannot be explained by science. This is a bigger case of truth vs. perspective as there is no official scientific evidence that god exists, but the perspective that believers have in an almighty being may prove otherwise. It is hard to understand which side is correct because there is evidence to support both sides, but is also mainly depends on perspective.
