Despite the overwhelming consequences of the pandemic, this global crisis has also been an extraordinary time for learning. As a Teacher, I have learned a lot through blended learning. This year taught me , to live in the moment and find glints of joy where I can.

Teaching Through a Pandemic: kindergarden transitions are never easy😀😂😂😀

As a kindergarden teacher , I overhauled courses and trainings, learned technologies, shifted our teaching to unfamiliar settings, rewrote assessments, changed feedback processes, and shifted learning expectations. These are things I did to bring a change in my teaching patterns, mindset and education. Lot of researches made the online sessions interesting and creative.Parents and teachers worked very closely with each other.

This change in education brought many opportunities in a teacher's and a parent's life too. Parents were also involved in their child's learning. The virtual sessions brought happiness and celebrations together.

I must say Virtual learning is a way forward for educators.

Thanks & Regards
Anusha Sachdeva

The importance of working together with families has been particularly highlighted in this pandemic. But I do think one of the better aspects of working during this time has been the ability to build closer relationships with my students. This time has allowed my students and me to get to know one another and build a better classroom community. It was like a gush of fresh air for all of us in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic situation. But of course I am missing my offline classes.

The whole world almost came down to a standstill with the COVID-19 pandemic...all sectors were hugely affected. The education system was no exclusion to it.

As an educator the past year for me was more of learning than was for imparting regular knowledge to the young learners. The young techies were fast to grab the nitty gritties of virtual, remote learning platforms and they assured that I pick up the same. The online learning tools could be so massively student-teacher friendly was something that I never construed of as a teacher before. It was an overwhelming feeling indeed, to get transformed from being a typical analog person to an absolute 24*7 digital person. However, this rapid transformation has bogged me down too, many a times.

In a nutshell, the pandemic have made me realise the definition of "Adaptation and Survival" to its truest sense.

-Anusmita

I believe that a new hybrid model of education will emerge, with significant benefits. The integration of information technology in education will be further accelerated and that online education will eventually become an integral component of school education.
The role of a teacher has evolved from someone who disseminates knowledge to mentors who aim to not only help students finish the restructured syllabus but also help each student to deep-dive into a sub-subject of their liking.
One major change, is the shift in testing student's’ understanding. Online education has helped us explore a more holistic approach towards assessment as compared to pen and paper-based.

Rani Sinha

The role of teachers during this pandemic has been multifaceted. We as teachers not only made a crucial contribution to ensuring continuity of learning but also supported the mental health and wellbeing of students. We worked individually and collectively to find solutions and create new learning environments for our students to allow education to continue. We realized that students aren't consumers of facts. They are active creators of knowledge. Schools aren't just brick-and-mortar structures -- they're centers of lifelong learning and experiences which we can help create.
We explored that information isn't bound primarily in books; it's available everywhere in bits and bytes.

Susnita Jena

My experience on Online teaching is that it offers an opportunity to conduct virtual classrooms and provides a learning platform, by being in the confines of our homes. We have also upgraded their skills and risen to this challenge effectively. I feel in the class once you have the right technique in place, you get to enjoy the class better. MS Teams the platform we used for the past few weeks has also been enhancing itself to provide more meaningful class. As a teacher to teach online methods during a pandemic is very challenging and requires a lot of innovation to create an atmosphere of closeness with students as if they were in the same classroom, the concern is that the concentration of students must be directed and controlled so that learning objectives are achieved well , create lively teaching methods that are not stressed or bored, students are challenged to actively listen by building reciprocal communication, Q n A must be multiplied, collaborating pedagogical and holistic concepts. I am very happy that the majority of the people has started actively operating the computer...cheers :)).
