The problem is that people from the US are worried that people in majority muslim countries may be a part of terrorist groups that believe in very extreme religions, such as groups like Al Qaeda or ISIS. People use different methods to try to stop the terrorists, but some people disagree about methods that should be used to fight the terrorists. This leads to controversy and tension.

A root cause of the problem is created from tension in the US because of the Executive Order passed by Donald Trump banning immigration into the US from Muslim-majority countries such as Libya, Chad, Syria, and other Middle Eastern countries. Another root cause of the problem is all the attacks on European countries planned and carried out by terrorists. These attacks scare people and create fear across the world.

This problem has directly impacted the world because terrorists attack the people who do not believe in their religion. They kill these people and destroy their homes, requiring the survivors to find new homes. The terrorists also hide among immigrants and get into other countries, which allows them to attack countries around the world. These are some of the ways this problem has directly impacted the world.

Why the rest of the world should be concerned about this problem:

The rest of the world should be concerned about this issue because if the terrorists attack other countries, innocent people will be killed. They should also be concerned about this issue because people who think that anyone who doesn't believe in the same thing they believe in deserves to die are wrong. They need to be taught that it's okay for people to believe in something different than what you believe in.

Currently, countries from the United Nations are using their military to combat the terrorists where they live. Police are also foiling plans to attack people in other countries by finding bombs and arresting fugitives that are a member of the terrorist groups. Refugees are getting the help they need in European countries where they sought refuge. The US Supreme Court is also reviewing the travel ban to decide whether it is constitutional or not. This issue is worldwide, and so everyone is doing their part.

You can help by sharing your thoughts about the travel ban on social media. You can also debate about what needs to be done with your friends and family. If you are old enough, you can even enlist in the military to serve your country. These are only a couple of the many things you can do to impact this issue.

A comparison between "Afghan Girl" and the Travel Ban:

I found two similarities and one difference between the book Afghan girl and the travel ban on Muslim countries. The first similarity is that Farah lost her family. This is similar to the travel ban because many immigrants have lost their families to the wars in their countries. The second similarity was Farah not fitting in when she moved to the US because in the travel ban research, I found that immigrants feel out of place when they move away from their home. The difference between Farah's story and the travel ban is that Farah is accepting new cultures and the people who are passing the travel ban don't want new cultures in the country. These are the similarities and differences between Afghan Girl and the travel ban on Muslim countries.
