The first similarity is that Farah lost her family. This is similar to the travel ban because many immigrants have lost their families to the wars in their countries. The second similarity was Farah not fitting in when she moved to the US because in the travel ban research, I found that immigrants feel out of place when they move away from their home. The difference between Farah's story and the travel ban is that Farah is accepting new cultures and the people who are passing the travel ban don't want new cultures in the country.
