The Hornets will enter a slaughter phase, which means, they will go on a rampage, and kill an entire nest of bees by decapitating them. So if you see a bees nest being killed off by a single hornet, or see the remains of this, that is another way of knowing there is an Asian Giant Hornet somewhere near.
