On the other hand Medea is not a total monster, even though she revels in the gruesome deaths of Creon and Glauke, she shows a good amount of motherly affection towards her two boys. But at the end when she kills them it shows how crazy Medea is. 
-Medea lets passion rule her actions which makes her indirect, Jason is direct because they say what his character is straightforward and they show that he is an unsympathetic character, the Nurse is direct because from the beginning they show her as Medea's caretaker, the tutor is direct because they show how he is the tutor for the children and that he mainly acts as a messenger, King Aegeus is indirect because they tell you who he is while reading the story, and Creon is a direct character because they tell you straightforward who he is and what he does to Medea.
-The Eurpides protrayed Medea as such a violent person because Medea is the type of person that is mad at the whole society and she has it bad, she's foreigner, making the people of Corinth distrust her, and she's a woman so she has next to no rights in the Greek society. 
- Medea represents the woman of her era as bad, but they made bad circumstances they cannot control.
-Medea is different from the other woman because she is headstrong and opinionated. Medea defies perceptions of gender by exhibiting both male and female characteristics. Her ability to separate herself from her womanly emotions at times and perform acts that society does not see woman capable of doing.

- Medea is a combination of female hero with aspects of the Gothic hero. She has qualities of the female hero for she has magical ability and is intellectual and independent but she does terrible things to help Jason who she loves. Jason have her the qualities of a gothic hero.
- Medea represents as an "uncurable grief". The purpose for this is a women happily married with her husband and including two kids. Then having all of this gone because her husband wants to go marry another woman, which is Glauce. This created many conflicts between Jason and Medea.

 An example of a scapegoat situation would be the two children of Medea and Jason. Medea tells them to give the new bride of Jason a coronet and a dress. They go ahead and give Glauce the gifts and she dies automatically. Then later Creon decides to let her stay one more day. Then as soon as the king is out of range, Medea swears to murder him and his daughter. 
-Medea, Jason, and Creon's conflicts are all external because Medea has issues with each one of them where she even plots to kill them, Jason leaves Medea for another woman and then this leads to Medea wanting revenge, and then Creon banishes Medea from the city.
-Medea, Jason, and Creon's fulfill man against man and man against society because when Medea was banish from the city that was man against society and man against man is when she plots to kill the people who hurt her. And when Jason abandons Medea to marry another woman that's man against man because what he did made Medea want revenge against everyone. -Medea chooses to exact her revenge on Creon and the princess with a poisoned crown, a crown that represents Creon and Jason's having polluted the royal line with unjust ruler ship.

The door to Medea's house remains closed for the entirely of the play and all of the events and speeches are delivered outside of the house. The door represents more than one metaphorical "barrier".
