Marr

A. In my opinion, being a good citizen on social media means not judging a situation and coming to conclusions too quickly. Just like in real life, you need to understamd whats really happening before reacting to the post. Since it is online, misunderstandings may happen more often, and not everyone who uses it may be educated enough to think critically, which is why drama happens.

B. Being a good citizen in the context of online gaming means helping and supporting other players instead of trying to bring them down. Trashtalking will cause both yourself and the affected player to lose focus on the game, which will make it harder to complete its objective.

C. In this context, I believe it is best to just be smart, play it safe, and ignore the email to avoid the risk of getting hacked or scammed. This has happened to me once, and althought I almost fell for it, I realized that, in the end, with my friend's advice, it was best to just ignore the email alltogether.

D. It is merely constructive criticism, and I don't have anything against it. The person commenting is being respectful and that alone is showing good online citizenship. Respect is important not only in digital setting, but in anywhere you go, which is why I have nothing against someone giving constructive criticism.

E. Plagiarism and AI-generated content are very common these days. This person practiced good online citizenship in the content creation context by avoiding both of those. Plagiarism and unoriginal content will only get you backlash and hate from others online, and it does no good to you either. It should not be stated that it is your content if you aren't the one who made it.

mae

A: A person who thinks before they post something makes someone a good digital citizen in the middle of social media interactions so no conflicts can happen after posting. Practicing good digital citizenship can be helpful to avoid conflicts like debating on politics and politicians, debating on who's fault is it on WW3, debating on controversial topics, etc.

B: Being a gamer myself, being respectful and kind to other players is very important when practicing digital citizenship in gaming. It can stop harassment or bullying in online games, even if you just joined a game and if you had not context about the conversation.

C: Reporting it to a grown up or ignoring it immediately can be helpful since it makes someone a good digital citizen when it comes to email communication. Ignoring spam emails, for example, can make someone have digital citizenship.

D: Being respectful to others even though they have different opinions is very important to practice to be a responsible digital citizen to remain chill vibes. Even if they like another candidate and you like the other, you can still be respectful to them since they didn't even do anything wrong since it's just their opinion.

E: It's very important to ask for credit if using another person's video to avoid plagiarism or making your own original video and crediting it as your own so no cases of plagiarism could possibly happen. If someone wants to use some clips of someone's video, they would ask permission to use them, or they would post it, but still credit the original creator of the clips/video.

I've had this experience so many times, people being mean towards me, and my friends as well, what we just do is just politely ask them to stop, or just ignore them because we should always be respectful to one another.

C: If you think it's a suspicious link, then don't click on it and find the most safest link possible, but you could also use a virus checker to see if it is a virus.

D: Being a respectful digital citizen is when you be respectful for other peoples opinion without being harmful.

E: Avoiding plagiarism could be done if you don't copy and paste all of your researches and say it was all yours, you could also avoid plagiarism if you send a link of the doc that your copy and pasting and show a reference so it you won't plagiarize other people's own work.

A. I believe that if they stay respectful and don't try to escalate any situations into an argument then they are a good digital citizen. When I used social media for the first time, I learned about being a good digital citizen and how I shouldn't try to argue with anyone because they might be dangerous.

B. A good digital citizen in gaming wouldn't use any derogatory or offensive terms and would instead act normally and not harass anyone. I was frustrated at someone once and thought about harassing them but instead I calmed down and didn't do anything and ignored them.

C. In email communication you should never send any malicious files or a file that contains too much storage and can corrupt files. I learned that many malicious files can be sent to you with email and I realized its important to be a good digital citizen because of that.

D. If they are respectful and don't intend to offend anyone and just want to help others learn and they also respect other's opinions even if they disagree. We should be respectful anywhere, even if we are online or in real life.

E. Today, plagiarism and AI are very common on the internet and so if they are honest and their work seems original I think it's fine. If we aren't honest in sharing or creating content we might face negativity or hate, so it's important to be a good digital citizen in that aspect.

Scenario 1: In my opinion, being a good digital citizen in this scenario is not arguing/fighting with the strangers you meet online, sharing your opinion peacefully, trying to stop fights, and respecting ideas.

If we follow this, instead of seeing multiple arguments that occurs within the comment section, it will be a peaceful place where people are allowed to share their opinions and what they prefer and making everyone a good digital citizen. Another example of this is when you see two people with different ideologies so you tell them that it's fine to like other things besides theirs.

Scenario 2: In this situation where a toxic person is attacking other by using abrasive language, it's best to try to calm them down, or report them if it gets worse to make them leave the game.

Being a good digital citizen in online games can let you and other enjoy what you are currently playing and have fun. for example, a stranger in a online game tells you that they don't feel well, so you tell them some positive notes.

Scenario 3: If the email recieved was from an completely unknown sender, and with a weird link, it's best to report it, because if you click on it, it might destroy your device. Another example of this is a another random person sending you an email, however instead of sending a link, they send what seems to be like work documents completely unrelated to you. In this situation, it would be best to tell them that they sent it to the wrong person.

Scenario 4: In this scenario, the student is has a good and respectful heart towards others opinions, which is the good thing to do. Another example of this is seeing a student post something wrong, then correcting them nicely about what is right.

Scenario 5: In this situation, what the student is doing is right, because they try to avoid any plagiarism that might occur, which will leave the original creator a little mad. Another example of this is when you do slightly copy another creator, but give them credit for it.

A. In my opinion, what makes someone a good digital citizen in the context of social media is when they respect others privacy and avoid cyber bullying. An example experience that could most likely happen in social media is when people post photos of their friends without their permission. We need to learn how to ask for their permission first.

B. What makes someone a good digital citizen in the context of online gaming is when they are careful with their words. It is understandable that you get angry over a game when you lose, but we need to consider being careful with our words. It is important because there are kids who are playing as well and you could be a bad influence to them.

C. What makes someone a good digital citizen when it comes to email communication is when they are careful. It is crucial to be responsible because just like in this situation, you could get a virus or get scammed by clicking the link.

A. For me, accepting would be a better option, continuing debating on a topic can lead to continuous arguments! So instead, we should keep our opinions to ourselves and respect other’s opinion! For example, a topic is being debated by people and saying it is good or bad, instead of continuing, we should end it with respect!

B. For me, instead of saying hateful words, say something that helps you improve better in the game. Some people say saying hateful words to others are also criticism but it could let the player feel down or not encouraged! An example in this situation is where I had a bad teammate in a game but instead of hating, I gave them tips to improve better!

C. For me, a student should know what to do in this situation, instead of clicking it, leave it alone or delete the email to prevent the “second thoughts!” For example, A student gets an email about free answers in a quiz, they shouldn’t click it because it’s hazardous and can let your device have a virus!

D. For me, they did the right thing since even though the person disagrees, they know what to do but for me, giving out an opinion is unnecessary even if it’s respectful!

A. Someone can be a good digital citizen in the internet in the context of social interactions by being civil and respecting everyone of their race, gender, and other traits one may have, along with avoiding discrimination towards others. One example of where practicing good digital citizenship can be important is communicating with someone with an often discriminated ethnicity, and respecting their background acting civil around them. This can not only improve your reputation as a good digital citizen., but can also prevent further misunderstandings and controversy.

B. We can practice good digital citizensip in online gaming by implementing the value of sportsmanship by accepting that you have won or lost. An experience I've had where maintaining digital citizenship was important in playing online games was when the opposite team was complaining, and if we had intervened then the situation would have worsened.

C. In this situation, I can maintain my online citizenship by approaching E-mails profesionally, and ignore any suspicious messages. One situation where I've experiences this was when I had someone in Gmail send me a suspicious link, and instead of responding I ignored the message and didn't click any links it was associated with.

D. In this situation, I would try my best to maintain being civil and respect the other person's opinion. One situation like this where mainttaining good digital citizenship is when you're debating in an online forum, you must refrain from using obscene language and respect the other side.

D. It is important to maintain good citizenship in content creation to avoid online controversy. One example where keeping this is important is when a content creator creates a video or any form of media, he/she must credit the original work he/she was inspired from to avoid backlash and further controversy.

Marko:

A. Being mindful of what you post or share on social media and possible the effects of them to other people who will read the post makes someone a good a digital citizen. Everyone should practice respect and understand that not all people are the same to avoid arguments. The experience that I can share on the importance of practicing digital citizenship on social media is I think before I click or respond into something to avoid misunderstandings or hurting the feelings of others.

B. The thing that make someone a good digital citizen in the context of online gaming is using kind words. Instead of saying bad words or using abusive language, a good digital citizen encourage and support each other in online gaming to be able to reach your goal. There were times when me and my cousins were playing online games, some of us sometimes do not what to do, but instead of teasing or saying bad words, we encouraged and taught each other patiently on how to play the game until we learn and enjoyed playing together.

C. The thing that makes someone a good digital citizen when it comes to email communication is that the student is being careful and making it is safe before clicking any link especially when it came from someone we do not know because it may contain virus that can hack your gadget. I do not just click or read emails from someone I do not know. If I think it is not safe or unsure, I ask my parents' guidance.

D. The thing make someone a good digital citizen in the content in online learning is that the student is being respectful. The student though did not agree with the original post, he/she did not offend someone because his/her response is constructive that can encourage improvement. I do not get offended comment that is respectful and constructive. I always treat them as a help or encouragement.

E. A good digital citizen is being careful in creating and sharing content online. He does not copy or steal someone's work and follows the rules on how to make the content. The experience that I can share of practicing digital citizenship in creating content is I make my own video was not copying other logos and credit to avoid plagarism.

Missy Tillah

A. A person can be a good digital citizen when there is respect and empathy, even if he or she doesn’t agree with another. Being responsible and accountable for what we post and how we interact on social media is key. One experience which shows the importance of good digital citizenship is spreading positive and inspiring thoughts on both posts and comments, which I do, because there’s too much hatred and bullying on social media.

B. A person can be a good digital citizen in the face of online gaming when he or she follows the rules and respects all gamers. I was playing a game on Roblox when someone joined in and started playing rough and cursing us. I called out this person, told him to act like everyone else, and reported his behavior as well.

C. A person can be a good digital citizen when it comes to email communication if he or she is cautious about opening suspicious emails and maintains privacy and security. This person is also respectful by not spreading spam and phishing emails. I experienced accidentally sharing a suspicious link to a friend, so I immediately told her to not open the link and also apologized.

D. A person can be a good digital citizen in the context of online learning platforms by being respectful, participating in the discussion, and by being engaged. For learning to be effective, everyone should also be professional, honest and good with meeting deadlines. An experience that shows good digital citizenship is when we mute ourselves when not sharing ideas in the online class, by addressing teachers and peers with respect, by taking turns when speaking and by actively listening.

E. A person can be a good digital citizen when creating and sharing content online by respecting others, being original (not copying from another source), sensitive to the viewers’ feelings and to the possible impact of the shared content. Bullying, unfair treatment and lying just for views is not ethical. An experience that shows the importance of good digital citizenship in content creation is showing a good example by posting only positive and uplifting content on TikTok.
