I was born in Kayseri. It is a big city in the middle of Türkiye. It has about 1.5 million inhabitants. The city is near Mount Erciyes, a big mountain for skiing. Kayseri is an old city with many historical places. There is a big castle that many people visit. Kayseri Castle and Osmanlı Street attract a lot of peoples attention. In the past, it was a trading city where people sold many things. But today it is a modern city with factories and shops. Kayseri is famous for its food. Mantı Yağlama and Pastırma are the dishes that many people love. There are restaurants where you can eat these dishes. A famous name from Kayseri is Mimar Sinan, who built many mosques. Now, Kayseri is clean and crowded. The people living there are friendly but also very distant and cold people. I like Kayseri because it is safe. I don't like the cold winters, which are sometimes very snowy. But I like my city.
