"Who am I?"

Answering the question "Who am I?" can be a deeply introspective and personal journey. It involves reflecting my values, beliefs, personality traits, experiences, and aspirations, and I will try to answer them with much enthusiasm. For starters, I am Myka Angela L. Dumdum. I am 22 years old. old and currently a 2nd-year college student. I live in Balamban, Cebu, and I study at the Cebu Technological University - Tuburan Campus, which is almost an hour away, depending on the unintentional hindrances. I took up the course, Drafting Technology. What I really want to study for college is architecture; however, due to unforeseen circumstances, I opted to take drafting, which is somehow pretty much closer to architecture. There are a couple of things that I like or, much rather, love doing. I love to draw, paint, and journal; hence, I leaned towards the Architecture/Drafting course🎨🖌️. I like cleaning, and as much as possible, I try to keep my surroundings odor-free and tidy. It keeps me calm, and I believe that a dirty environment just tends to mess up your emotions. I am very passionate about my sport, which is soccer. I fell in love with it the moment I joined, way back in high school. Because of soccer, I also get to travel to different places within and outside Cebu, but not yet outside of the Philippines😂 This sport also developed me and helped me grow as a person. I became independent, and I am so proud to say that I can now travel anywhere without my parents or a friend, just as long as I have the money😅 These are some of the things that make me a person. If you have any questions, feel free to approach me😊.

"My Biggest Fear"

Jollibee, period😨 Kidding aside, although this scary-looking bee could sum up my fears, on a serious note, I have fears that cannot be seen by the naked eye. After years of living, I have grown, and I have discovered some fears that I am constantly fighting. I'll just introduce you to some: neglect, failure, and losing myself. As young as I was, I realized that I wasn't really treated the way my siblings were treated, maybe because they saw me as someone who could handle herself. I think it's what they called "middle-child syndrome." 😂 I do not like failure; hence, I made sure that in whatever I do, I excel or am just knowledgeable in that stuff. This fear is also connected to the previous one. Just because I feel neglected, I made myself who I am just so I could show my parents and for once make them proud of me. "Nagpapansin, ko nila." Just maybe in that sense, I can feel accepted. Lastly, is losing myself. I became so invested in not feeling neglected and not failing that sometimes I felt pressured and slowly lost myself. It sucks, really, and as much as possible, I try to keep thinking positively. I hope I can keep it together as long as I can. Fighting!!! 💪 Again, aside from Jollibee, these are the things I feared the most. Istg, who said that Jollibee is kid-friendly? Daghan na kayag napahilak nga bata si Jollibee😤.

"What keeps me going?"

"Akong uyab. Chaarrs!!!🤣". There are a lot of driving factors that kept me going: challenges, dreams, and passions. Each of these factors supports my will to live and makes me resilient. I live for challenges, as I believe that life is boring if we don't face challenges. Challenges allow us to discover ourselves, who we are, and how we respond to them. It promotes the growth and development of one's being. These challenges open up opportunities for me to venture. We cry and feel disappointed sometimes, but it's all part of life. What is life without dreaming? Dreaming is not only about imagining; it's about visualizing yourself in the future. We dream because that is who we want to become. Those dreams are not just silly imagination; they're our driving force to stabilize our future. And how do we make this dream possible? We make this possible by putting our passion into what we do. Yes, passion. Passion is not only about what you like; it's about putting yourself into what you do in order to achieve your dream. That's how things work out for me. Fueled by dreams, powered by resilience—this is what keeps me going.✨✨✨
