         <description><![CDATA[<div>If the student is off-task, I use positive behavioral narration.  I acknowledge 3 students who are on task (i.e. "John opened his textbook to pg. 23") and then repeat the instructions.  Usually that student has corrected their behavior so I would then acknowledge by saying, "Ryan is open to textbook pg. 23."  It sounds silly but it actually works.</div>]]></description>
