Google Earth is a perfect website to take a virtual fieldtrip with your students and explore new places from all around the world. Learning fun facts about places you've always wanted to visit is awesome. For my Google Earth project, I "visited" the Statue of Liberty and typed two paragraphs for my classmates to read. These paragraphs included the statues size and history, along with fun facts and stories about the statue.

Creating a website for a topic that you're passionate about is an amazing way for students to express their feelings about it to the public. It can be used to bring awareness to major issues, and get people involved with trying to fix said issues. My website is about ending world hunger, along with ways that we can achieve that goal one day. It also includes a donation link for anyone who is inclined to help the cause.
