The writing Journal has been helpful for me. I like starting each class with a bit of writing, and I like how the topics vary from thinking about the subject we will cover in class that day to something random. Helps get me in the "class mood", and gets the brain running.

The writing journals have gone ok. I like that you can just rewrite and add your own ideas and thoughts. It has changed so I can write faster for sure. I have learned more how to become a better writer and not have as much writers block. Hard to come up with ideas a lot tho and write for so long at times.

At the beginning of the semester, i was very conscious about my writing and how structured it was, but moving forward from there i have definitely just gone with the flow with my writing and letting my brain take over. i enjoy it, i feel like it’s a good way to reflect on myself and my progress and is a good warm up.

I think that since the beggining of the semester, I have significantly improved on not only my writing but my writing style. I have a lot more confidence and I beleive it even shows from my AV1 to my AV2 draft.

At the start I wasn’t a huge fan of it, but as the semester has gone on my view has definitely changed. It’s nice some days to just start using my brain as soon as I’m in class, and I’ve gotten better at typing. For myself I have learned to reread every time I think I have finished something because I always catch myself making little mistakes.

At the beginning of the semester it was hard finding a starting point but as the semester went on I feel like I can come up with ideas to write about with the prompts quicker.

At the beginning of the semester I felt like writing took up a lot of time and needed specific ideas. I think these writing journals helped me slow down on writing and answer the prompt thoughtfully. I feel like now I can write a little more clearer.

I think that the writing prompts for me at first didnt seem beneficial. Especially since I struggle with writing nonstop. I need to be able to take a few seconds and think about the next thing to write. But as the semester went on I saw that the more I wrote in the journal the more I got better at writing nonstop.

At the beginning of the semester, I felt a little bit hard to write every class. I often didn’t know what to say, and I would overthink whether my writing made sense. But over time, it became easier to just start and keep going. I think my writing has become faster and more natural. I don’t stop as much to think about every sentence, and I feel more comfortable getting my ideas out first. One thing I learned about myself is that I write better when I don’t try to be perfect right away.

I feel like the writing prompts have definitely help me become a better writer. I used it as a tool to just put down any ideas I had going on in my head and I would try to keep it brief. Then it would become a lot more easier and I would be able to express more ideas as they kept coming.

Doing the daily writing prompts has helped me get into a better flow in my writing. It's also helped me generate ideas that I have been able to use in my essay. I've learned that it's a lot easier to write when you just start. You can always go back in later and edit. But sometimes just getting words on a page is a good first step.

(Grant W) The writing journal is a good way to start class, as it allows you to step back from whatever is going on and recollect yourself for class. I don't mind doing the journal as often times its really reflective and can offer a different or more real perspective when you write your thoughts down. So, the prompts are better than others, but overall, it went well.

I feel like at the beginning of the semester I didn’t like writing much and it was hard for me to start. I would definitely experience writers block and felt like I was stuck when trying to write. Now I feel like it’s a lot easier to just start and get my ideas down. I think I write faster now and I have a better flow. I’ve learned that I don’t need to make it perfect right away, and that helps a lot.

The writing has been going pretty good and has picked up a lot over the course. It was going slow at first but now with the revisions I’ve found it’s easier to come up with ideas and build off of my topic.
