Equity, community impact, and strategic investment will be at the center of my contribution.

✨ Serving on the Baltimore County Commission on Environmental Quality (CEQ)

As a commissioner, I advocate for clean water, environmental justice, green infrastructure, and stronger climate preparedness across Baltimore County. This role has strengthened my commitment to local environmental policy and community-driven solutions.

✨ Appointed to the Maryland Comptroller’s Climate Advisory Council

This statewide advisory group works to align climate policy, economic resilience, and equity across Maryland.

As a young man I was into a lot things. From selling drugs to using them. In and out of jail. In my 20s I use to predict my death. When I passed the age that I thought I would be dead. I started killing myself with drugs. To the point my family cut me off. Went jail for 10yrs came home and rebuild my life and relationship with my family. Then I turned back around and stop using drugs to start drinking really bad. So bad that my family didn't want to be around me anymore. Put myself into a program for 6 months. Since I have never look back at my past experiences. But one thing I do keep it in front of me so I don't make those mistakes again. So I can say that I have over came a lot. When see me now they are proud of me as I am proud of myself. When people say that I am doing good. I say that I'm not doing good I'm doing better than I was. People ask do I think about drinking again and I say yes. But I think about what it did to me. Where I ended up and where I am at today. Where I am today I love it. So if can over come my past anyone can.

What a journey it has been from my first full album, My Love, to this moment. I am deeply grateful to God for guiding me every step of the way. May I forever be useful to Him, and may all who experience these gifts feel the love, purpose, and joy they were created to carry. Cheers to many more victories to celebrate and cherish! 🙏✨

A personal victory for me has been learning how to move forward without everything being figured out. There were moments where progress was slow, plans changed, and outcomes weren’t ideal, but I kept going anyway. Being able to adapt, stay disciplined, and not quit when things got uncomfortable is something I take pride in. That’s my version of victory.

There were seasons when medical school felt more like a moving target than a destination; gap years, denials, and multiple MCAT retakes tested everything I thought I knew about myself. Each setback forced an honest question: Is this still what you want? And every time, the answer was the same, yes.

Those delays didn’t break me; they refined me. I learned discipline when progress was slow, resilience when results didn’t come easily, and purpose when validation was nowhere to be found. I stopped chasing timelines and started building endurance.

Now I’m here. Locked in, focused, and driven. I don’t take this seat lightly. Every rejection, every setback, every doubt became fuel. I didn’t arrive by accident, I arrived by refusing to stop. This is only the beginning.

Receiving my master’s degree at 24 is more than an academic milestone—it’s a testimony of grace, discipline, and purpose. Every late night, every sacrifice, and every moment of doubt was met with God’s faithfulness. I didn’t walk this path alone; His guidance ordered my steps, His strength carried me through, and His blessings made a way where I couldn’t see one. This achievement is proof that when God gives you a vision, He also gives you the provision. Grateful, humbled, and ready for what He has next.

There was a moment when my life shifted quickly and unexpectedly. I went from having multiple streams of income and a strong sense of financial security to watching those streams disappear one by one, until I was left with just one.

That transition was difficult. I was used to a certain level of stability, freedom, and forward momentum. More than the lifestyle itself, I had plans for my future, for growth, for the person I was becoming. Losing that foundation forced me to pause and confront uncertainty head-on.

The victory came in how I responded. I had to recalibrate, strip things back, and focus on what truly mattered in the present moment. I learned to operate with intention instead of excess, gratitude instead of fear, and resilience instead of panic. Most importantly, I reminded myself that no situation is permanent, everything has a season.

Navigating that period strengthened my discipline, sharpened my priorities, and rebuilt my confidence from the inside out. What once felt like loss became clarity. And that clarity gave me the belief that I can adapt, rebuild, and rise again, no matter the circumstances.
