You have to plan for a home and to provide clothing, shelter, food, and water for other humans (Unit 1.2, 5).
* The college you decide to go to can have an affect on your ability to find a job and your income.  "Public school grads earned just 80% of what private school grads earned: Public school seniors reported an average of $40,000 versus $50,000 for private universities and liberal arts colleges" (Unit 1.2, 6).
* How much time, effort, and research you put in to making a decision can affect the outcome. If you don't properly investigate, you could be setting yourself up for disappointment (Unit 1.2, 7).
* Deciding which field you go into can also have an affect on your income. Sometimes getting a higher degree can mean increased income, but doesn't guarantee it.
* Deciding not to go to college could have a negative affect on your income and job opportunities.

Earning the higher degree in Social Work also increases the opportunity for additional income. I will decide which college I will attend based on financial aid and scholarships offered to me, to reduce the need for student loans. I hope to earn at least the mid-range of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker category. I have already applied to both colleges, have received acceptance to Bowling Green and hope to have a decision from Ohio State soon. Once I am able to file the FAFSA and receive financial aid packets from both schools, I will make the final decision.
