He lives in a small village on the hill. His job is to tend his sheep at the foot of a mountain near a dark forest. Every day, he takes the sheep to the grassland in the morning and brings them back in the afternoon. The villagers work together; they get to talk and play but I am here all alone on this hill”. Then he had an idea “ I know how to have fun “ he thought “Wolf, wolf !!! ” he shouted, “Help !! The wolf is chasing my sheep”. 

The hard-working people in the village heard the cries of the shepherd boy and came running up the hill to help him. However, when the villagers reached the top of the hill, they didn’t see a wolf. The next afternoon, the shepherd boy was caring for his sheep at the top of the hill. He watched the cloud float by, he picked up the grass, and he took a nap.

“Time went by so slowly !! I am more bored today than I was yesterday . every day of my life is the same “.
He remembered the excitement of the day before and how fun it was to see the angry looks on the villagers’ faces when they reached the top of the hill. Before he could stop himself, he was shouting “ Wolf!! Wolf!! The wolf is chasing my sheep !!!”

Again, the villagers came running up the hill with clubs and forks in hand. Later that night, the boy sat under the tree at the top of the hill and counted the stars in the sky. Then he saw two glowing red eyes coming at him in the dark. The boy was frightened:  “Wolf! Wolf! Help !! A wolf !!”

The village elder came and comforted the boy:
