The bill of rights
The Bill of Rights is a document drawn up by the English parliament in 1689, considered one of the cornerstones of the United Kingdom's constitutional system. "Bill of Rights" literally means a manifesto, but the expression has come into use with the meaning of a declaration of rights and in English the alternative denomination "Declaration of Rights" is also common.
The great Reform
The Reform Act 1832, or also as The Great Reform - is an act of Parliament that introduced extensive changes to the English and Welsh electoral system. According to its preamble, the reform was aimed at "taking the necessary measures to correct various abuses that have long prevailed in the choice of Members of Parliament."
The suffraggette movement
The term suffragette indicates in a derogatory way the suffragists, or women belonging to the women's emancipation movement born to obtain the right to vote for women.
to indicate more generally the woman who struggles or works to obtain the recognition of the full dignity of women, thus partly coinciding with the term feminist.
