We participated in the Eco - Schools challenge in conjunction with the Praia da Vitória Municipal Council “THE SEA BEGINS HERE”

We participated in the Eco - Schools challenge in conjunction with the Praia da Vitória Municipal Council “THE SEA BEGINS HERE”.
The topic addressed “marine pollution” was simultaneously integrated into the eTwinning project “STEM for Kids” indirectly involving students from European schools in the debate on the aforementioned topic, where collaborative work and activities were shared.
From the exploration of the different themes, the message “Everything that falls on the ground, ends up in the sea” was discussed with the children and it was proposed that they conceive the decoration of a gutter/sink through drawing.
Then, all the proposals/drawings were exposed and the children voted for the drawing they liked the most and finally they went to paint a gutter/sink chosen by the Municipality of Praia da Vitória.

An exhibition was organized at our school for the entire school community entitled "Etwinning in Preschool", where the eTwinning projects developed throughout the school year were represented.
The space selected for the delivery of certificates was next to our final exhibition. With the certificate delivery ceremony completed, we conclude our participation in this magnificent project. Thanks to all partners.
