CBD is short for Cannabidiol, which is a very powerful anti-psychotic that has been used in the US as a treatment for people with mental illnesses. Many pharmaceutical companies are working on medical marijuana, and many cities, such as California, are now seeing the legislation moves forward to make buying medicinal marijuana legal. One of these companies is MMJ Medica, who is currently developing a medical marijuana derivative called CBD. The Cannabidiol is thought by many to have much the same healing qualities as medical marijuana, without the harmful carcinogens found in it.
