My family, but especially my sisters, are one of the things in my life that I cherish the most. I love the relationships I have with each of them. Having sisters, especially as a girl, is such a special bond that can't be replicated or replaced. As the youngest, I see the hardships it takes to be an older sibling and having to be responsible for younger siblings, and for that I appreciate my sisters so much.

Going to clean houses with my mom were some moments in my life that made me eternally grateful for all of the sacrifices my parents made for me and my siblings. Seeing my mom and dad work stereotypical, low-paying jobs is what inspires me to pursue a higher level education and career in hopes of getting rid of any financial problems for my parents and I.

I really like animals and how interesting they are. I have a dog right now whom I've had for about 8 years now. He spends his days outside and one of my favorite things is going outside and seeing his face light up. My dog is one of the things that inspires me to keep going. In the future, I hope to own a cat or a family dog.

Seeing I got a D+ on one of my final grades was one of the weirdest feelings I've felt. I was never one to get bad grades in school, so this was something entirely new for me. I felt discouraged, but most of all I felt disappointed with myself. Needless to say, this is another event that has helped me keeping going and trying even harder in school.

Going to a concert with one of my best friends was one of the best days I experienced. The concert was about 30 mins to an hour away, and I felt like I really connected with my friend that day. Seeing her and I so excited to hear an artist was a moment that I felt really solidified our friendship.

Joining the softball team and being completely new to the game was a significant moment from this year. Specifically, being the only one who wasn't put in to play was significant since it made me feel discouraged. But, I realized that I didn't have to force myself to be in something I wasn't 100% passionate about and that not being good at something is okay.
