A quick glance at her account might cause some to believe that she is a democrat -- a big turn off for republicans. This is because she is very vocal about her opposition against Trump (Trump is the focus of almost all her articles from the past year). However, a deeper look into her account will reveal that she is actually a republican. In fact, a lot of her articles tend to focus around the Republican party and her criticism of Trump. She is also a proud supporter for Iran freedom: a topic she has been tweeting about since the very beginning of her twitter account, and a topic she has written several articles about. Although she keeps practically all her tweets focused on politics and global issues, she occasionally pokes at Trump and his supporters in either a sarcastic or light-hearted fashion. With the majority of her tweets based on her unique political stance (Trump-opposing Republican), Chavez doesn’t seem too interested in gaining mass attention with her posts.
