 I think it is cool.   Censorship is not easy to define.   Teachers, principals, and school administrators make decisions all the time about which books and materials to retain, add or exclude from the curriculum.  Censorship also harms teachers. By limiting resources and flexibility, censorship hampers a teacher’s ability to explore all possible avenues to motivate and “reach” students. By curtailing ideas that can be discussed in class, censorship takes creativity and vitality out of the art of teaching. Instruction is reduced to bland, formulaic, pre-approved exercises carried out in an environment that discourages the give-and-take that can spark a student’s enthusiasm for learning. i think it help people no. Censorship is particularly harmful in the schools because it prevents youngsters with inquiring minds from exploring the world, seeking truth and reason, stretching their intellectual capacities, and becoming critical thinkers.  i help not judge people to help them. reach out to students.

Without these books to learn from, student may not come to find the true happenings of certain topics. This, in the end, could possibly lead some children to believe more of what they hear rather than what they should know. It puts restrictions on their cultural understandings and also holds back students from learning some of what truly happens in our society. Without censorship, students would  have a very good understanding of some harmful activities and could use what they learned to prevent it from happening to them.

This research, part of a larger study of high school English teachers’ views on the literature curriculum, focused on how the threat of censorship influenced teachers’ selections of literary works as well as their approaches to literature. These teachers addressed the effect of challenges on their goals for teaching, on their school administrators, and their colleagues.  English teachers in public schools must accommodate diverse constituents and often find themselves caught up in conflicts about what texts are best suited for the literature curriculum.  One disturbing aspect of censorship is its power to deny students in one class or an entire school system the right to read particular texts. Mike Rose argued that many schools, in spite of good intentions, actually deny students the opportunity to develop intellectually: "Our approaches to language and literacy as often as not keep us from deep understanding of differences and problems—and possibilities" Most teachers are saying its a threat to the text others are saying it doesn't bother them. It is ostly found when a teachers is reading a book that would be inappropriate for kids to listen to or to get a visual image as the think about what the teacher is saying as he/she is reading the book the the older/younger audience. But books aren't the only thing that may have censorship in it. But it would also be some of the things that would the teachers teach Children like most of the older kids. censorship can also be hidden in children's books, such as 
these books were Banned because they have inappropriate content inside it.

If you look at the original post I assigned, it says "comment whether you agree or disagree. Why or why not?  Are the sources credible? Don't be afraid to add to their ideas".

Some of you simply stopped after the first requirement.  If someone created a citation (most did not, which you should have) you need to check their source and see if you believe it to be a credible source.  If you need help determining that, look at our notes we've taken throughout the semester.
