Going to Turkey

Having the opportunity to get to know Turkey was the best thing that has ever happened to me, i got to meet amazing people, places and foods and just beautiful culture.
It was the first time i had ever travelled by plane so i was very nervous and i had never been so far from home, but it i’ll be an experience i’ll never forget and cherish forever.
I hope i get to come back someday since everyone was so welcoming there!
Thank you for everything, Turkey! I loved it. <3

I think I talk for all of us when I say that this was an incredible experience , with funny and amazing moments.
We have cried, laughed and met people we will always remember.
We have had this great opportunity through our own efforts, but I am glad to have surrounded myself with good company, because without it this experience wouldn’t have been possible.

This trip has a special place in my heart and memory. During the last week I surprised myself feeling comfortable and happy around a group of people that were almost extrangers for me, and I realised that I am more independient and outgoing than I thought. I am also proud of myself for tasting so many different food. I'm aware that we have been extremely lucky to have this opportunity and I'm thankful for everyone that made this possible. If I could, I would rewind to the moment when we got on the plane and I'd relive every moment because all of them were simply awesome.I will keep with me every person I've met and every place we visited; even if I can never see them again.

I’m so sad right now, because the trip is over.

But this journey was amazing!

We visited a lot of places and monuments and even we met a lot of people, making good friends for the future, I’ll never forget this travel, because it has been one of the best experiences of my life.

I would write all the moments and memories here, but it would be so long.

Also, I wanted to make a corner to show how I appreciated the way that you made us to feel like we were at home and to say that this adventure possibly wouldn’t have been as it was without you. Thanks to everyone for making this experience an inolvidable one.

It is difficult to choose one moment more significant than another. I think all the moments are fantastic! The trip with my colleagues and my “girls”, the meeting with other people who shared their culture, their knowledge and their history, the welcoming of people, the new friends that will never be forgotten, the shared joy! It's hard to choose a moment, but if it has to be, let it be the balloon ascent. The silence of the ascent was momentarily interrupted by the noise of the air heaters. Feeling fragile, lonely, but part of a celestial ballet, simultaneously chaotic and organized by the magical arts of an unknown conductor. See you soon!

Hello!!!

There are no words that can express how spectacular this experience was.
From the hospitality, friendliness, cordiality of the hosts, to the companionship of the other participants and even the students.
I can't highlight a specific moment, every day was a stimulus for the senses, from the gastronomy, culture, history and the fantastic landscapes and places I had the opportunity to know. I loved it!!!!!
I look forward to the next "meeting".

It was a perfect experience for me to meet you all. We had so much fun with our portuguese and spanish friends, I am so glad to meet you. We did lots of organisations, and got tired, but it was really worth. If I had a chance, I can do that again and again. It was the best week of my life. Thank you all for this, hope we'll meet again ❤️

first i wanna say how much i like them. we had amazing time. we taught them our cultural things like dance, foods, greetings etc. and we learnt a lot of thinks about spain and portugal culture. and when they must leave, we cried a lot and hugged each other. im so happy for met them. we have great experiences and memories. i cant wait to meet them next time.

First of all,I have to say that it was a very good week.I think the activities are very fun, be it music, picnic or excursion.I was suprised that they were friends because I had some prejudices,but when I got on scene(when I play darbuka with Mehmet :D) ,I overcame those prejudices.Everything was very good I would love to see beautiful people like you again.

It was a great week. I had too much great experience for example the music program was my first time to singing at the crowd. The Cappadocia trip was great too.Walking the streets together, beautiful views to see together and especially the breakfast, that atmosphere was a excellent. I'm so glad to met all of you. Having the opportunity to getting to know u guys was one of the best thing happened in my life.I wish we could have more time. And i can say that the events were reflected how good our culture is to our guests.

Fırst of all,I would like to thank for everyone for this wonderful week. We had a great time during the week , ı was very happy in every minute of it. I think it would be difficult to describe these feelings in writing they all hold a special place in my heart.I wish I had a time machine and relive those days over and over but that's not possible at the moment😞 so ı hope we meet again and experience those good feelings again.ı love you all sooo much 💗💗

Being in Turkey was one of the best weeks in my life. I loved meeting so many incredible people, who were always so kind to us. It was really cool to see how school works in another country, to see the differences and similarities between our cultures and (of corse) to visit beautiful places with great views. One of my favourite places to go was Cappadocia, the air balloons, where the view was wonderful.

If I have the opportunity to visit Turkey again, I definitely will!!

Being on this project was without a doubt an incredible and completely new experience for me. One of the things I liked most about Turkey was the people themselves and their culture and way of being.
One of the best weeks of my life, without a doubt!!
I am very happy to have had this opportunity. everywhere we went, the food, the people were amazing, one of the best opportunities of my life.

I think that week was good.
We met people from different cultures, they talked about many common points. They tasted our food 🥐and visited the important places of Aksaray.🏞
I think the best day of the week was Friday. So the day of the spring festival.☀️
Teachers and students played a lot of beautiful games.🥅🎯 We immortalized those moments and took them on camera.📸

Apart from that, we had a good time at the picnic. Everyone danced with the music. 🎶Especially the Spanish teachers were my favourite, because they were very friendly and sincere. They adapted very quickly to our culture. So much so that they danced even better than us :) At that moment, I thought how similar they were to us;)
I had already heard many rumors that the Spanish people were similar to the Turks and that they were very friendly and smiling people, but when I saw them, I was sure that these were true.✅
In addition,I really liked the portugese teacher's relationship with their students. It was obvious that they really care each other and the nicknames that they gave to their students was cute:)
I hope one day I can be in a sincere place like that again👋👋

First, you are all wonderful people. It was a great experience. I'm so happy for met them. We had a good week. We had a lot of events. I learned new cultures. When they must leave we were so sad;( I'll miss you. I can't wait I'll see them next time.♡♡♡

Happiness is the best word to define this experience.
We have lived many moments for the first time and maybe for the last too.
I have enjoyed each day as if it were the last and above all I have learned a lot.
I wish I could repeat these moments on a loop and hope we meet again one day.
Now every time someone mentions "Turkey" all the memories will come back to me and it will be inevitable to smile. Thank you all for joining me on this unforgettable adventure.

This journey has been one of the best experiences of my life. All the things we did, the good moments that we shared, and most of all, the amazing people who we shared them with. It was an unforgettable experience . I loved Turkey, all its places and its people. The students were all so nice with us and they made us feel like we were at home. The teachers were super kind with us, too.
And of course, sharing this experience with my five mates, who are all amazing, was even better.
I loved the food, It was new for me to know turkish gastronomy, and I loved it!
In general, I loved their entire culture and all the people there.
I will never get tired of saying that It was one of the best experiences I've ever lived.
Thank you everyone for sharing these unforgettable moments with me.

One month after this unforgettable experience I still think about all the moments I lived there and all the people I've met, when I see something related to Turkey or Portugal thoughts come immediately to my mind and I cannot avoid smiling. I hope I'll be able to see y'all once again. It was nice to meet you and have an incredible life!

First, thanks to all of the teachers for everything. It was a great experience for me. It's a realy good to see some people from other countrys because when you see them you realize how big is the world. Despite the distance we had similar culture and its amazed me. I like Portugal and Spain probably because of their history. This countrys discovered so many places and they had some of the most important

historical figures. For example: Christopher Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan etc. I'm glad to be a part of this project. I hope we will see each others another time. Until that time take care.
