The Staff-Parish Relations Committee is the administrative unit in the local church where staff and congregational interests are integrated to focus on the mission of the church. As chairperson, Michelle has used her leadership skills well. I appreciate her commitment to the church, her support of the staff, and her ability to reflect faithfully on my role and work as pastor. She is a good and solid leader.
This past summer Michelle and I joined seven other adults in helping lead the senior high mission trip to New Orleans (travelling with 43 young people). It was a delight to travel and work with her, and equally joyful to watch as she engaged, encouraged and supported our youth. Michelle nurtures, loves and cares for all the children in our faith community.
