But after getting the cup out of the microwave, I saw that the milk had dried on the cup, and it had spilled out into the microwave. I told my mom, and she told me that it was the cup that I used. She wasn't mad at me, but she made sure that I didn't do it again

This connects to the theme, because after I made that mistake, I was careful to not do it again. So I had left it there next to the hot frying pan. And you know what happens to plastic when it's in contact with hot metal, right? Well, the plastic melted into the frying pan, and it wasn't a pretty sight. Well, my dad, taught me a lesson out of it. He told me to put something back when it is done. I was careful to never do it again.
