5. I enjoyed many of the highly descriptive scenes as it felt like I was part of the story itself. The characters also reminded me of my primary school friends, although we do not talk as often now it felt like I was experiencing the story with them.

6. I recommend this book for anyone who likes the creepy thought of paranoia. It may be easier for boys to relate to the reactions of the characters as the book is about a group of boys. Other then that, the character development is amazing even though the book is fairly short.

Why I picked up the book?The reason is because I saw the movie and the TV show adaptation and that attracted me to the books.

Were there any new words I learnt? Not really. But I did learn words from the other books I read.

What I enjoyed about the book? Well I enjoyed when the book ends, we do not know if the main characters violet, Klaus and Sunny buderlaire made off the V.F.D island alive. So it gives a sense of mystery and maybe ends on a cliffhanger.

This series of books is pretty good to read if you like mystery books and if you learn would like learn new words.Than this book series is for you. I found out about the word schism(which means a divide been a group or an organisation).
