This has been a huge problem as it is making it harder for them to live their day to day life. This is an issue because they cannot cook or have a proper clean shower with dirty water unless they boil their water for the day first. On top of that, people are becoming very ill from this water they are being provided with. Many families have stated that they lost multiple healthy family members due to cancer and diseases and they think this issue might be a factor. Not only do most not have clean water, some don't even have pipes to run water to their house.

As it is super expensive to get the proper hookups for the Six Nations to connect to a proper water resource, they are left to suffer. There hasn't been word on a place or person to fund this and the community themselves do not have the money for it as it will cost millions of dollars. This needs to be fixed as it is still an ongoing issue. There must be a way to solve this issue and help these people out. Their goal is to have it all throughout the community. As of right now, because it is so expensive they only have limited access. The next step for this project is going to cost roughly 11.5 million dollars and this is not even covering many people's homes, schools, etc. Roughly 2,000 more homes, two schools and 53 fire hydrants can be put in to place with this money. So many people are without clean cooking and bathing water. This is unhealthy and more of a cost for them as they have to buy bottled water so they can drink as well as boil their water to cook and bathe with. Not everybody has the access to it yet due to the location of it not everyone can access it. To finish this, they need more funding to do so. This is a rather large project as they are starting from the ground up and they have yet to receive all the funding to complete it. Although, Trudeau has promised to have funded enough to have this completed by 2021.
