  • Roger is a troubled boy because he tries to steal, he has no one to look after him, and finally, he thinks that he needs blue suede shoes, when he really needs to be cared 
    • 2.  In the beginning of the story, Roger thinks he needs a pair of blue suede shoes, when what he really needs is someone to care for him.

    3. In the beginning of the story, it seems that  Mrs. Jones and Roger are very different, but by the end, you realize that they have more in common than you realize.
