Two main characters, Beth, a guitar technician visits her sister, Ellie, a tattoo artist, also a single mother raising three children, teenagers Danny and Bridget, and a younger child Kassie at their home, Monde Apartment in Los Angeles. The scene was cut to an earthquake when the three children were at the basement parking  and discovered a mysterious hidden chamber.  Danny investigated the chamber and discovered three phonograph records from 1923, and a strange-looking book, called Necronomicon Ex- Mortis, or can be revealed as one of the three volume of "Naturom Demonto" or "The Book of the Dead". All of the sudden, there was a strong dark force attacked and possessed Ellie in the elevator. She was being "possessed" and threatened her family and neighbors. There was a scene that Ellie revived from the "dead" and attacked the family. Beth and the children locked Ellie outside the apartment after she attacked and murdered the neighbors.

Near the ending scene, the bodies of Danny, Bridget and the neighbors were possessed and combined with Ellie into a multi-limbed creature known as "the Marauder" and trying to attacked Beth and Kassie. At last, the creature was killed by using the the wood chipper. 

2) Elevator scene: when Ellie was taking the elevator to go do the laundries and was attacked by a supernatural force and was tied up with the wire of the elevator

3) Near ending scene: Beth used chainsaw to killed the monster

2) Possessed Bridget: She was eating glass on the kitchen counter

3) The Marauder (one of the most disgusting) : the bodies combined together and attempted to attack Beth and Kassie

The event was decorated with full of colorful decorations and atmosphere was filled the festive and joys together with the crowds. The photobooth and henna booth were crowded with people the most without any signs of people decreasing. Besides, staffs and students were wearing beautiful attire taking photos and also helping out at other booths.

To conclude everything , after this Deepavali event, it was surprisingly a whole new understanding of Deepavali to us. The celebration have shown that regardless of what is your religion or belief or race is, as the result, it will brings lots of joyful moments with everyone celebrating together. More of that, every culture is different. For example, the food, customs, language, clothing and also the religions and beliefs are also different, but we are living in a multiracial country, and we are learnt to respect each other cultures. Lastly, I would think that this is a great experience for me to learn and understand more of other races culture and also have a opportunity to take part in the celebrations.
