I really liked the variety of images that I got. It was really cool to explore just how far I could go under the umbrella of "liquid photography", especially with incorporating other elements like additional lights (image 4) and rocks (image 8). Overall, it was just a really fun experience and I got some great results.

First, expect nothing. My initial plan (water drop photos) went out the window in the first few minutes of shooting, when I couldn't first couldn't get accurate focus and second couldn't sync up my shutter to the actual moment of impact. Instead, I ended up shooting through the side of a glass container, and incorporated different elements to try and spice things up. Second, prepare for a mess. I didn't plan for it beforehand, and it took a while to clean up. Water was bad enough, but adding Soap, oil, and food coloring into the mix made what I thought would be a quick clean up into a 20 minute adventure in getting grease and suds off the kitchen table, despite all the napkins I had placed down beforehand. Finally, just go with it. I ended up with some great shots that I'm really proud of anyway, despite all the hassle. Not bad.
