Providing business intelligence, best practices, and prior knowledge from related projects outside the organization are all included in this advice.

A:   - Evaluating the organisation's problems, situationally and as a whole  - presenting and explaining findings to clients - exploring different solutions to these problems and deciding on which solution would be most suitable for implementation. 

M: The duties of a consultant include conducting research, interpreting research findings, using that data to formulate interventions, identify opportunities, and provide insights into different relevant phenomena (Management consulted, 2019).
Presenting these findings is also the responsibility of the consultant which may include 
communicating with  internal and external stakeholders.  Monitoring personal health one’s personal health is also important for consultants as this enables them to bring the best versions of themselves to their tasks (Management consulted, 2019).

Industry knowledge is acquired through years of experience in a certain industry and the generalist, on the other hand, has a wider perspective than the specialist, thereby minimizing the risk of “tunnel vision,” and arguably providing the client with more variegated solutions to issues (Banai & Tulimieri, 2013). 

A: Consultants need to have good communication and people skills so that they are better equipped with communicating strategies and issues. This will further allow relationships to form. The knowledge consultants should have include change management strategies, morale improvement, and capital improvement (Kum et al., 2014). Consultants must be able to assess and problems, design workshops, and carry out training (Kum et al., 2014).  


M: Consultants need to combine their skills, knowledge and abilities to effectively execute their roles. Research skills, knowledge and an understanding of organizational functioning are important . Understanding human psychology can inform how consultants conduct their research, apply organizational theories, and effectively transfer their knowledge to the clients (Backer et al., 1992).  
Other skills include time management, flexibility/adaptability, communication skills, business knowledge/commercial awareness, analytical skills (Kchoi, 2019)
