Flying is impratical in Singapore and doing so would get you further then when you started. Taking the bus is troublesome because sometimes busses are slow and can also get caught up in traffic jams.

We are also able to meet people from all walks of life and able to interact and maybe even make friends with some of them. It is also a very green way to travel in public transport as we are able to reduce carbon emissions that can lead to global warming
c) I do not fully agree as it is people choice of transport and it can be convenient for them to move around.

I would feel very uncomfortable as I think that it would be very uneasy for the people to get around as the place is very crowded. As the place is very crowded there is not enough space for the commuters to comfortably move around and they may have to push and collide with people and this may be very harsh and uncomfortable for them. I think I would feel very stress as well if I was in a situation where I had to rush to somewhere and there was a huge crowd of people in the train station.

2) I think my favourite way to get around Singapore is via the train as I feel that the train system in Singapore is very well connected to every part of Singapore hence making it very easy for us to get around from places to places. I also feel that getting around by train is the fastest way and the easiest way to get around Singapore as there often many signs boards right when you alight from the train that leads you to your destination. Hence , I feel that getting around Singapore by train is my favourite way of getting around Singapore due to its efficiency and speed.
3) I think that cars should not be allowed in city centres as this city centre is a place where there is a lot of crowds and having many cars around will create increased pollution there leading to many people being uncomfortable with the smell of exhaust fuels that comes from the car and this will affect their health negatively as well. Furthermore , the increased use of cars can caused further pollution that is very bad for the environment and increased global warming issues. I also do feel that there are many other ways to get to the city Center without driving as there are many public transport that can effectively get you there without causing as much pollution. Hence, I feel that cars should not be allowed in the city centres

(a) They are appreciative of the art display. In the first few clips, the museum visitors move slowly around the art pieces to take them in at different angles. This shows that they are not in any rush to leave out of boredom and they know the value of the artworks before them. We can also see that most of them have no phones in their hands, so they are not looking to be distracted.

(b) I am interested to visit art museums and galleries. Although I am not a visual artist myself, I see the value in it. Just like all arts, this is something that can be interpreted differently by every person who sees it, which is what makes it special. Art museums and galleries can be visited either with company or as an individual, and they are both different but enjoyable experiences. You can discuss your interpretation with others with you, or you can keep it to yourself and fully appreciate how the piece spoke to you.
Secondly, these are mostly artworks that have withstood the test of time. They are a means of teaching us about history and all the different eras and styles. For educational purpose, we can tie the styles into the context of when the artwork was created to deepen our understanding of history.
However, because art museums and galleries are generally popular tourist destinations, they are often quite crowded. If there is not enough space and everyone swarms around artworks, there is less enjoyment in the overall experience. This is especially unrewarding when one has to pay to go in, only to have no time or space to get a good look at the pieces.

(c) I agree. Art deserves to be appreciated by everyone for its timelessness and uniqueness. Regardless of age, race, socio-cultural background, everyone should have an equal opportunity to spend time with art. Imposing a fee to do so only discourages curiosity towards art.
Additionally, especially if the original artist is no longer alive, who does the money go to? People should not be paid just for holding on to the artworks that have been left behind for centuries.
However, if the artworks on display were to attract patrons for a good cause such as donations, there could be good reason to impose a fee. Artists are still people who need to eat, and they deserve recognition and compensation for their effort in producing art, even through money. But I believe this only applies if the pieces were recently made and the artists are still alive to be credited. Historical artworks should not have to be paid to be seen, because the creator is not the one who receives the money.

a) Iwould not want to join such an activity like the one that I have seen in the video because I myself am not a dancer and if I did decide to join that activity I would be embarrassing myself instead of exercising. I prefer other activities other than dancing such as jogging or calisthenics. In the event that I do decide to exercise through dance, I would do it in an actual enclosed space with real dance lessons instead of doing it in the open like the one I saw in the video.

b) Exercise for me is how I help myself to destress and have fun which is a really important life aspect for me. Being able to exercise helps me to develop abilities that I never knew I could do and gives me a hhge boost if confidence when I reach a target or goal. One example would be how after a huge set of papers, one would want to take a break in order to not go mental. In order to do so, a good practice would be to do stay at home exercises or jog in the park. This helps to not only boost your physical self but also help to clear your mind in order to give your best when doing work.

c) More could be done in the country by having teachers conduct lessons on the importance of having a good and healthy body. Another way would be to host a competition for students with a prize on the line. This would push the students further and make them go the extra mile to become the best of themselves.

a) the people in the video seem intrigued about the artworks displayed in the art exhibition. The people were strolling around the art exhibition, looking relaxed and laid back. Some of them examined each artwork very closely while others are only looking at the surface of each artwork. Therefore, it is some sort of leisure for the people to go to the art exhibition. The people also seem to be very ecstatic as they can spend time with their family.

b) I am not interested in visiting art galleries and museums because personally I find it boring. I visited the Singapore Art Gallery with my friends only because the Museum was closed. I expected it to be educational such as the history or the meaning behind each artwork and also take pictures with my friends with the artwork in the background. However, it was difficult for me to even understand the intention behind the artwork and i even found it stressful to do so. Furthermore, since the exhibition was quite dark, flash is needed for us to be seen properly in the pictures but pictures were not allowed to be taken with flash. Therefore, we left with nothing to remember our experience.

c) i agree to a small extent that no one should have to pay to go to art galleries and museums. With hardwork, artists spend a lot of time doing trial and error on their art pieces until they are satisfied. To credit them, people should pay to enter the galleries. Also, staff in galleries try their best to maintain each artwork and keep surroundings clean for the people. They should benefit from people spending money to enter such as their pay. I disagree because many people may be discouraged to visit the galleries because of its price. Without the price, many people would definitely be encouraged to visit many art galleries

(a) I would not join a dance like the one in the video. With my limited experience in dance, I have discovered that I am not most suited to it. I become quite clumsy for all the hand-eye coordination I have, which makes each experience unenjoyable.
On the other hand, I would join a dance like the one in the video. I have heard the experiences of friends and relatives who go for weekly Zumba classes or dance as a hobby. It is a great way to keep fit with upbeat music to keep you going during each session. Additionally, most people dance in groups, so it is an art that brings people together. Dancers need to have a strong sense of synergy between they to create a visually appealing end product.

(b) Exercise is not my top priority at the moment, as I need time for my studies. However, playing sports is also a form of physical activity. Playing such games are a fun way to exercise.

(c) In Singapore, I do not see many other ways to promote exercise. We already have community walks organised and apps that pays us to clock steps. If these are not incentive enough to Singaporeans, I do not think that much more can be done.

As i am not someone who is more of a active person, which like to go to places like amusement park like Universal Studios to enjoy myself with the rides there or like shopping mall. Moreover, I also enjoy sports more than art, thus i would rather keep my body fit by going to walks or playing sports such like badminton or volleyball.Lastly, i am also someone who go out to catch up with my friends and visiting art galleries and museums is not a place my friends and i would be able to talk but just enjoy the art itself . Hence, because of the person i am and where i would rather go , i am not really interested in visiting it.

c)I would agree to this statement. As i feel that the artists would want more people to know about their artworks and people acknowledging it . Thus, if people were to pay for it , personally i would think that not many people would go and that only those who are really interested in arts would willingly pay for it. Furthermore, it is a place for people to enjoy the artworks, and people are just looking at artworks.

Clip 1
(a) I think that the people in the video are very attracted and impressed by the art exhibition. They are taking their time to look at the artworks and looked very impressed by the different types of artworks.

(b)I am not interested in visiting art galleries and museums and I am personally someone that tends to enjoy more fun and exciting activities like going to amusement park and shopping rather than calm and relaxing activities. I feel that I am someone that does not really know how to appreciate artworks as much as others. I also think that I would not spend a lot of time at art galleries and museums as I will most probably just take a look at the artwork and just leave which is not a good thing as I feel that I would waste the money. Hence, I personally would be that interested in visiting art galleries and museums and prefer visiting other more fun places like Universal Studios.

(c) I agree that no one should have to pay to go to art galleries and museums. This is because I feel that not all people will be willing to visit art galleries and museums if they have to pay. Because of this there might be a chance that no one would visit these art galleries and museums willingly and only those who are interested in art would be willing to pay to visit. People may rather spend the money on other places of interest. For example, my family would rather pay to visit Universal Studios rather than paying to go to the National Gallery or National Museum. Secondly, there will be more people that will be likely to visit if art galleries and museums are free. This is because more people will feel that since it is free and will be more interested to go.

a) I think the people in this video are intrigued by the art exhibition. In the video, there are clips of artworks and following those clips, the interviewees showed signs of interest. They also talked about the various artworks and showed their passion for the artworks.
b) I am interested in visiting the art galleries and museums. I have always considered myself to be a creative individual, and I have an undying passion for the arts, and have travelled the world in search of art. I remember visiting the museum regularly, and I have gained invaluable insights to the many artworks.
c) I agree to this statement to a large extent. Since i am a regular visitor to these art galleries, i have to pay entry fees to enter and observe the artworks, and let me tell you, the fees are very expensive, so i have lost alot of money just to see exhibits i couldve seen online. However, these art museums need money to function and maintain the valuable artworks, so although I'm frustrated at the high entry fees of the art museum, I wouldn't mind patronising the art museum.

(a) I would feel the need to board the train as soon as possible. During the morning, I have to get to school before a set time, which puts me in a position where I have to rush for the earliest train whenever possible. However, during the evening, I do not feel the need to get on a train quickly like I do every morning since I do not have a set curfew on when I should get home. Typically during these busy hours, I'd find myself stuck within huge crowds of commuters, which proved to be a hassle to squeeze through. I have personally been to the station in the video during peak hours and I have seen the huge crowds boarding and alighting the train and it has been a pain trying to travel while being in a train that's full of commuters. Being packed like sardines in a can has made me felt uncomfortable as I do not have the freedom to move about and I am restricted to a limited amount of space.

(b) My most favourite mode of transport would be to travel by bus. Taking the bus as a mode of transport can take up precious time, but it gives commuters like me a more direct access to specific locations, unlike MRT stations which are located within more busy areas, or areas with higher demand, like town or neighbourhood centres. I have been a bus enthusiast myself, and taking the bus as a mode of transport has brought me much joy as I get to see the surroundings, unlike most lines on the MRT which are fully or partially underground.

Another one of my favourite modes of transport would be to take the MRT. The MRT gives direct access to town centres, where many retail outlets can be found. I've always used the MRT whenever I head down to the city, one station in particular which I have been to much more frequently is Promenade, which is located directly beneath large malls such as Suntec City and Millenia Walk. The MRT provides commuters like me with quick access to these locations without having to worry about terrible traffic conditions on major expressways leading to and from the city.

Another mode of transport I wish to ride if I had the finances to do so, would be to hop on a taxi. Unlike trains and buses, taxis offer a direct service to any destination of a commuter's choice without stopping for other commuters to board or alight. This would allow me to quickly get to my location in a lot less time than taking the bus or the MRT. However, a major problem for me is the cost. Taking the taxi has its trade-offs, and cost is one of the main issues. Taxi companies charge a base fare, with additional costs depending on the distance travelled, and since the fares are relatively high, this would not be my preferred mode of transport, unless I need to go somewhere urgently. The convenience comes at a steep cost for me and I would only take the taxi if I really need it.

(c) I agree that cars should not be allowed in city centres, not just because they are bad for the environment, they also create congestion which can be inconvenient to commuters like me. I have seen first-hand the inconvenience it brings to people like me, and that it wastes a lot of precious time. Cars are also very inefficient in moving people and goods. Cars take up a lot more space while carrying a lot less people as compared to other modes of transport like buses, which can often fit between 80 and 150 people within an area comparable to two cars parked parallel to each other. Cars on the other hand, can only accommodate 2 to 5 people per vehicle, which makes them very inefficient. Not allowing cars in city centres can also encourage more people to take public transport, which is much better for the environment as it can move more people for a similar amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere.

However, I disagree that cars should not be allowed in city centres because of the possible congestion these vehicles could create outside of the city. If cars were to be banned within cities, they would generate more traffic outside of the city limits, creating congestion, and slowing down the movement of people and goods in and out of the city. If Singapore were to ban vehicles from entering the central business district, more traffic would build up around the city as people would try to find alternate routes to their destination, which can cause even more congestion outside the city.

a) I think that the people in the art museum really enjoy the art and are satisfied with their trip. This is due to the fact that the artworks in the art museum are exquisite and intricate in design which is something that one does not see on a daily basis. With these artworks, tourists and locals are able to admire and study them which could be beneficial.

b) I am very interested in visiting art galleries and museums because it has always been on my list of things to do growing up. I have always wanted to see artworks that are on display in the museum for myself and be able to admire what people have come up with. I feel that a museum is a really subtle and relaxing place which will help me to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and not have to worry about anything.

c) I agree that people should not have to pay in order to get into art galleries because it could get quite expensive due to the artifacts and artworks in there which will definitely be a peoblem for the poor. I feel that everyone should have a chance to be able to see what other people are able to create and learn from them.

a) I think the people are very intrigued by the art exhibition. In the video, there were many people exploring the exhibition and viewing the various sculptures and artefacts. They also explored different levels of the exhibition

(b) No I would not be interested in visiting art galleries and museums. Personally, I would not consider myself as an artistic person or someone who would appreciate the arts. I cannot imagine myself spending multiple hours walking down the halls and viewing the pieces on display as it will easily bore me. Secondly, while I do think that museums do pique some people’s interest, the displays definitely do not appeal to me as much. As a avid user of technology, I would much rather learn historical facts and research through the simple search on the web, rather than having to read chunks of descriptions at a museum.

(c) I agree with this statement. Museums are important to the preservation of our history, cultural and artistic heritage. Hence, I believe that museums should be easily accessible to all citizens, as they are a vital resource to our knowledge and appreciation for the country. Museums should be free for the public’s viewing, as lower income families may not be able to afford the entry fee, which will limit their educational and cultural opportunities even more. However, if museums are also considered a form of entertainment to people and it is a privilege to be able to view artworks. Some museums hold objects and art pieces of great value and it would be unfair for it to be subsidised by the government as it will lose its value. If museums are not well funded, it will also affect our creative and tourism industries.

(a) Just watching the clip already feels suffocating, and I imagine it must be worse for the commuters who actually experienced it. At peak hours where most people are going to work or returning home, it is expected for there to be large swarms of commuters and overcrowded public transport. Large crowds in enclosed spaces do not sit well with me, especially with all the noise and movement. I would try to avoid those peak hours by travelling earlier or later. But depending on what I travel for, it might not be an option. If caught in such a situation, I would focus on getting out as fast as I can.

(b) I prefer travelling by private transport. While it is not the most environmentally-friendly way, it is often the most efficient and comfortable. Unlike public transport with a number of locations to stop at along the way, private vehicles can go straight to the destination without having multiple commuters with various destinations. Additionally, there are less people, which makes it more comfortable and less noisy.

(c) I think that the number of operational cars should be limited, but not completely disallowed. Cars still remain one of the most efficient ways of travelling, which places them of high value. By banning them, we reduce the speed and efficiency of travelling for many commuters.

1) I do not think that I would one to join a dance like the one form the video as I do not enjoy dancing as a form of workout as I feel that it is too strenuous for me. I personally would much prefer to do pilates workout and yoga which are less strenuous and more relaxing that helps to improve my body flexibility and helps to make me more calm. I prefer this type of workout as I feel that I feel that these type of workout helps to soothe and my body a lot more making me feel refresh the next day as compared to a strenuous dance workout which may cause me to have body aches.

2) I feel that exercise is very important to me as I feel that it is very important to keep fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I feel that working out is a good way to train our body to be stronger and it also helps us to keep fit and maintain a healthy body. This is really important as I feel that maintaining a healthy body keeps us away from many health risks and diseases such as diabetes and coronary heart diseases. I feel that working out is very important for us to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

3) I agree that more could be done to promote exercise in the country as I feel that there are not enough gym facilities that are available for us and many of the gyms are located pretty far away and this might discourage many people to workout as they think that it might be too troublesome for them to travel a far distance just to workout. However, I feel that there are a lot of videos that are available online that provides you many information about exercises that you can effectively do at home and I feel that these type of content should be promoted more by the government.

clip 3
(a) I would feel stifled in that condition because it is rush hour where everyone would be commuting at the same time. There would be people going to and fro from work and school hence train stations would be crowded and it will be difficult to maneuver around. Moreover many people will be pushing and squeezing to board the mrt or leave the station. Hence would constantly be bumping into other commuters making the trip unpleasant
(b) From the various modes of transport, my favourite has to be rental private transport. For example Bluesg allows the subscriber to use any of their cars parked around for a fair price, hence is a very convenient and comfortable mode of transport. It is definitely cheaper than owning a car and has the same function and convenience. Compared to public buses which follows a long route and have stops to more specific areas, it is inconvenient so as when you may be rushing from place to place. Also the public train, is inaccessible to certain areas and is especially crowded during peak hours.
(c) I agree as cars emit a lot of pollutants that are harmful to the environment. Not only that but it will post health risks to those who are around city centres that constantly inhale these gases. For example a open air stall which worker is constantly breathing in the polluted air for a extended period of time. This causes people to be discouraged from visiting city centres due to the stench of petrol and road congested areas. However i also disagree as i feel that it is necessary for cars to be in city areas. It is important to accommodate those who owns a car. It would only be that they would like to be able drive their vehicles into city centres also comfort hence private vehicles. Should there be no cars allowed, there will be lesser business in those city centres for the inconvenience to access it. Hence, lower revenue for the facilities.

a) I would feel uneasy because i don't like crowded and congested places because many people may bump and collide with each other. I do not like to be bumped upon and even have a chance of getting an injury. There will also be an unpleasant surrounding where the odour of sweat is wafted in the air. Especially in the Covid 19 pandemic, i will be more uncomfortable in being in heavily congested places as shown in the video

b) My favourite way to travel in Singapore would be by train because it is fast and efficient. Trains in Singapore reach each station within 5 minutes and it also has no traffic and it is cheap. Reaching to the other side of Singapore does not take more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cars are also my favourite way of travelling. Even though there is a chance of heavy traffic, there is more privacy and i can eat whenever i feel like eating. Cars are very fast as there are no stops in between and expressways are avaliable to travel quickly.

c) i agree to a large extent. Cars are responsible for contributing in air pollution. Instead of cars, people can use public transport as it is cheaper and conserves the environment. Due to the emission of gases from cars, many people feel uncomfortable and some even develop asthma because of the polluted air.

clip 3

(a) i think i would feel very claustrophobic. At this hour with so many commuters rushing home or to work, the MRT will be very packed and crowded, my surroundings will feel smaller than usual. In addition, people will tend to be more selfish and rude during these timings. There will be a lot of pushing and squeezing and fights for seats. Travelling will be unpleasant and uncomfortable.

(b) my favourite way to travel around SG would be by any private transportation. Private transportation provides comfort and ease. I do not need to compete with anyone for seats or spaces and travel time will be lesser compared to public transportation. I would not need to wake up early to wait for buses or MRT which sometimes they might be unreliable and come later than usual. Cycling is also a good mode of transportation. Singapore has built park connectors for cyclists, which makes it easier to travel by bicycle. It is not dangerous with well-paved ground and away from cars. it is also green and do not contribute to pollution. If i decide that i want to push my bicycle around all day, i have an option to rent a bicycle and drop it off whenever i want to shop or eat.

(c) I think I would understand why some people would say that. Cars emit a lot of pollutants, if everyone would to drive a car, our air quality would decrease vastly. This poses to a lot of health issues like asthma. Illnesses as such hinders with one’s life and how they come about their life. People will asthma will have to bring an inhaler around in case of a sudden asthmatic attack. They would also have to try to avoid strenuous activities.

However, Cars are still relevant and necessary in our lives. Travelling by cars is much faster and especially in a big country, it is almost impossible not to take car to different destinations. Not all countries offer an integrated public transportation for the public to use. This would cause a great inconvenience especially for those who are working. Being late because of a bus breakdown or train breakdown would be very common. Running errands would take longer than usual and all in all productivity would decrease. Hence, cars are important for more efficient travelling.

a) I would feel uncomfortable as it is very crowded and people are very close to each other. There is not enough personal space. People normally push against each other which makes it irritating. I also dislike places that are noisy places which usually are crowded places.

b) One way of travelling which is comfortable and I normally use is travelling by bus. Buses go to many places and allow for transport with a less amount of cost. Although one bad part about travelling by bus is that it takes a longer amount of time. Another way i would like to travel by is train as it transports us nearer to the destination very fast where you could take a bus from the train station. Although methods like public transport are sometimes crowded which make it more uncomfortable. Another way i would like to travel in Singapore is car. As cars are very fast like taking a taxi which makes it more efficient and comfortable as there is not crowd. But travelling by cars are expansive.

I disagree as cars are essential to some people who work where they would have to bring along bags and more items which lot harder to do in public transport like busses. Cars also also are a lot faster in a case of emergencies and can enable us to act faster. However cars do release harmful gases and in this small country i als

(a) How do you think the people in this video are feeling about the art exhibition?

The people in the video seems intrigued to see the unique art styles in Africa with artworks of different sizes, they also seemed relaxed as they were slowly walking from one artwork to another.
(b) Are you interested in visiting art galleries and museums? Why, or why not?
I am interested in visiting art galleries and museums. As a person to loves art, I believe that the artworks in the art galleries shares many things from their lifestyle to emotions. As most famous artworks are from the 1900s, it allows me to relate and understand the story of the artist life and also allow me to observe their art style and skills for example, I would observe the paint strokes of paintings to see how they manage to potray the image such as trees and use it in my own painting

(c) Some people say that no one should have to pay to go to art galleries and museums. What do you think?
I agree that people should not pay to go into art galleries because the art style and skills in the artworks artworks in the art galleries are rarely used in modern time as things like digital art and animation is getting more easier due to the overall demand of such art for cartoons and comics and as digital art and animation are overall less complicated than traditional art. Thus, the entry fee to art galleries and museums should be free as to inspire as many people as possible to the artworks and not just for those who can afford the fee

On the other hand, some people would say fees are needed for art galleries and museums as profit is needed to maintain the artwork and obtain more artwork which can be costly and maintain the location. However, I have been to art galleries and museums that accepts optional payments of the people's desired amount instead of putting a compulsory entry fee for everyone

(a) I would not feel good as the train station and the train would be packed with people and it would be hard to get on and off the train and everyone would be packed so closely together and i wont have enough space

(b) With a diverse and efficient transport network in Singapore, its hard to choose which is my favourite. But if i have to pick one, it would be travelling by bus as i feel it is a faster and more comfortable reason to get around. Another reason why i prefer buses over trains is that i do not live near a train station, and it would be a little inconvinient to get between my house and the train station. In some instances, buses can get you directly to your destination, unlike taking the train where you sometimes have to walk when you are changing train lines to get to other places, this can sometimes be tiring especially if you are carrying heavy things. Plus, with "express bus servies" these days, which help to reduce our travelling time, it makes taking the bus a better decision for someone like me who does not live near a train station

(c) I do not agree that cars should not be allowed in city centres. I think that cars are still a pretty essential transportation tool that some still heavily rely on and by not allowing cars in the city centre could lead to alot of negative side effects. For example, this will lead to the reduction of economic gains for the country as well as companies as by banning cars in the city centre, would mean that the city centre would be less accessible to some and hence it could lead to a drop in business. However, there are some measures that could be put in place to help reduce carbon emmisions in to the environment. One example could be the introduction of Hybrid and electric cars in the city centre, these vehicles are known to be more environmentally friendly which would be benefitial to the evironment. In order to encourage people to drive these cars, the government could gives those driving these type of cars some benefits, such as reduction of ERP charges and priority parking. This way, people can still get around the city centre in cars, but it will not harm the environment that severely, hence this would be a win-win situation for all. However, a long time solution would be to get the majority of the people to get around the city centre with the use of public transport, this would severely help to reduce the harm to the environment as well as be able to transport a huge amount of people at a time.

However, progressively, with each session the pain in my feet was hurting more and more and was begging my mother to let me quit. Similar with zumba, there was a selection for a performance and i tried very hard despite my hurting feet but still did not get the position so i was discouraged and never really wanted to dance again.

b) exercise is very important to me as my family members are very healthy and exercise a lot. This gives me to motivation to exercise as well. Although exercising takes up quite an amount of time, i always make sure that i have to make a few rounds in the morning as it energises me and make me feel rejuvenated and it also gives me the motivation to start on my work.

c) no, i disagree as the government has done enough on their part to promote exercising as they have made the exercising equipments accessible to all and there are many other non governmental companies hosting campaigns and events to encourage people to exercise and rewarding all of them with a medal at the end of the race. i think that these are already enough efforts to encourage more people to exercise

When there are examinations or there is a lot of homework to do, i rarely find time to exercise. However, exercising is a good way of destressing and taking a break from our phones. It also helps when someone feels mentally exhausted or unwell as they could consider exercising to feel better. This is because exercising can relief them by making them forget about their problems.

c) There is many things already done to promote exercise because our government has already implemented active sg which is a movement to promote exercising in the country but more can be done by increasing duration of pe lessons so that the students who could not find time to exercise can get a chance to exercise.

a) I do not think i would ever join in a dance like the one in the video now. As personally i do not think this kind of dance suit me and i would much rather to join a K-pop dance class or Hip-hop class. This type of dance genre is not what i am interested in and i would not pay money to do it. Moreover, i would rather do exercises to keep myself fit than to dance as i am someone who is very stiff and would not be comfortable in dancing something like this . Thus, i would not join in a dance like the one in the video but would rather join other genre dance class or do other activities.

b)I think is quite important for my friends and I to do some exercise at this age. As i think we should always prioritise our health first thus, we can start by doing some exercise and keeping our body fit. Also, i think that sports is also a form of exercise , thus my friends and i could be playing sports like badminton, volleyball or just simply walking in parks. At the same time , it could be bonding sessions with our friends , catching up with one another. However, i feel that some people are just not up to exercising and they are lazy, but as long as they eat healthily and still maintain a healthy lifestyle ,is it alright to not do exercise . Thus, i still feel that it is quite important to do exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle from young .

c)I agree that more could be done to promote exercise in our country . As i think that there are still many Singaporeans not leading a healthy lifestyle and are very lazy in terms of keeping themselves fit. Thus, government can organise more activities to motivate people to exercise like giving them prizes or like vouchers. Furthermore, government can also using social media to spread awareness about the importance of exercising

(a) I do not think that I would ever join a dance like that one in the video. This is because I would rather do activities that can be done at the comfort of my home. I personally prefer to do workouts like that at my own home as I feel that I do not need to travel and pay for these types of workout and that there are a lot of videos on the internet that I can watch and do workouts for free. Secondly, I am not someone who is very sociable and does not have the courage to do these types of workout in front of others and would rather do it alone by myself. Hence, I do not think I would ever join a dance like that one in the video.

(b) Doing exercise is important for me and my friends as it is a good way to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. In this day and age we are usually very health conscious and exercising is a good way to keep healthy and have an active lifestyle. Additionally, exercising is a way that we can keep fit and lose weight without having to give up too much on good food. We can still be able to enjoy foods like bubble tea and hamburgers and long as we eat in moderation and exercise regularly.

(c) I agree that more could be done to promote exercise in our country. This is because I feel that there are still a lot of people that still do not exercise regularly and more should be done to promote exercise in our countries. They can also encourage community centres to organise free activities for the people to participate in.

a) i would feel very uneasy as i personally am afraid of being in crowded areas when during peak hours many people would be going to or knocking off work so there would be higher flow of human traffic and everyone would be pushing each other to ensure they leave that place fast and will tend to squeeze thus i would feel extremely uncomfortable.

b) my favourite way to travel around is by car as i like having a space to myself instead of sharing spaces with others. travelling by car is also more convenient as you can travel from your location at anytime you want however, when taking public transport you would have to wait for the train or bus to come, thus wasting a lot of time just on waiting. Consequently, travelling by car is not eco-friendly, so my family and I would take some days off using the car and cycle instead. It is enjoyable as i get to exercise and see the scenery around me and most of all, it is the most eco-friendly option to travel. Most of the times, on my way back from school, i would take the train as have a very dense network and the timings of the trains apart are using 3-5 minutes making it very convenient if i want to reach home fast from a tiring day at school instead of buses which sometimes take more than 20 minutes to arrive.

c) i do not agree although i know that cars emit a huge amount of carbon monoxide to the air which is damaging to the earth and traps in the greenhouse gases, resulting in negative impacts to humans as temperature rises and the decrease in air quality thus damaging humans overall health and the earth's heath. However, i personally think that cars are still largely needed especially when people want to get to places fast and not have to be squeezed or fight for seats in the bus. In addition, car emissions are harmful everywhere it goes, not only in cities but i feel that more can be done by government to control the amount of cars on the road instead of banning cars in the cities. They could set days where cars would not be allowed in the city and allow for the cars to enter only on other days

a) I would feel very uncomfortable and disturbed. As there is many commuters causing the MRT station to be very packed and crowded. Thus, as a person who do not like being in crowds , i would find it very uncomfortable for me when everyone is squeezing one another, so close to one another , causing me to feel unease. Additionally, in the video, we can tell that many people are rushing home or work at rush hour, which can cause unnecessary accidents to happen, like falling down or accidentally bumping to one another. All these circumstances, would make me feel very uncomfortable and would tend to avoid all these.

b)Firstly, i would say my favourite way to travel around Singapore would definitely be by private transport. As it offers the most efficient and comfortable way of travelling despite the cons it has such as costly and is not environmentally friendly. However, i would feel more at ease and comfortable with it as i do not need to share with anyone and need not squeeze with people. Thus, private transport is my favourite way of travelling around Singapore as it allows me to travel comfortably without worrying about facing crowds with public transport. Next, travelling by train could also be my favourite way to travel around Singapore. As firstly, it is very efficient and convenient for everyone to use it . For example, now that more train lines are build, we can travel almost everywhere with the trains and it would not take that long. Next up, it would not be stuck under traffic jams like other transport such as bus and private transport and the mostly it would not delay its timing of arrival unlike the buses. Thus, train would be my favourite way to travel around Singapore because of how convenient it is and could be very efficient.

c)I agree to the statement. As it is one of the reason that causes air pollution and harms the environment. Furthermore, the fact that it is one of the more prefer choice of transport for many people, it meant that there will be more cars travelling to city centres as people wants to quickly arrived their destination and shops. Thus, cars should not be allowed as it will definitely cause traffic congestion near the areas, and harms the environment more.
I also agree to the statement. As i think that having people are not aware of the consequences of the car can caused to the environment. The air pollution can actually cause people to have health issues if they continuously breathe the car exhaustion and also the plants out there would gradually be limited causing the world to suffered. Even though cars provide more flexibility and convenience , i agree that cars should not be allowed in city centres as city centres itself would have lots of people , and if there is a lots of car causing air pollution as well, the consequences would be very bad. Hence, rather than travelling by cars to the city centres , i feel that people should try using public transports and minimise the air pollution and traffic congestion.
I disagree with the statement. As it is the most convenience and the most efficient way to travelling in city centres. People travel by cars as they are comfortable in it and need not worry about having to wait for buses or trains and can avoid crowding with people. Thus, it should be allowed in city centres as it brought lots of convenience to the commuters, especially if they are in a rush or something and taking public transport would take up a lot of time.

(a) Personally i would not join a dance class like this one, as i am generally shy when it comes to expressing in actions. I have the conception that people are often judging me and criticising my dancing abilities in such a dance class as that. Such dance classes are fast paced and require you to be enthusiastic about the activity in order to endure through the whole session. If i would to participate, i would be struggling to keep up with the dance moves and embarrass myself as a result. I find that these dance classes are too strenuous for me, definitely a challenge for my stamina. But if ever, i would try it out at least once. It is well known that exercise is good for your body and to stay healthy, hence dance can be a more fun and engaging alternative for exercise that i will like to experience the hype and excitement that participants feel in classes. Maybe even possible it can help to build my confidence in expressing myself and encourage more active lifestyle habits.
(b) For me, exercise is not that much of an importance. I feel that exercising consumes quite a bit of time and commitment to make the exercise worthwhile. Therefore i turn to other alternatives like dieting healthily which is as good as exercise. Moreover a fit body is not something that is of importance to me hence i can use my time better to complete other tasks. Hence exercise is not a main focus in my current life. Also for other friends of the same age they are not too focused on exercising. While it is good to keep in shape, we rather spend more time on our studies which is more urgent. On a day to day basis we participate in activities that are good enough to keep us active hence there is no need to deem it as important.
(c) i agree that more could be done in Singapore to promote exercise in the country. In current times many youth, even adults are glued to electronics be it work or for leisure. Many people spend their time seated down and not actively moving around. Now many health organisations or groups try to promote exercise through programmes and attractive prizes like the fitbit to walk a certain number of steps. However it does not gain the attention of most public which may feel that it is less important due to their more pressing matters to attend to. Or even not applicable to others. Their promotion of exercise is only towards a certain age group, which should be reconsidered and include those who are younger and the elderly. It is important to ensure that the elderly are still active and healthy, hence promoting exercise to them that are applicable could be done.

(a) I think the people in the video are feeling intrigued and fascinated by the south African art museum. As the tourists visit the museum, they admire an art piece for a while before moving on, others whip out their camera to take a picture of them. A man being interviewed gestures to the art pieces and smiles showing how he is interested and enjoying the pieces.
(b) yes, i am interested in visiting museums and art galleries. I myself enjoy making my own art pieces for example a sculpture out of recycled materials. Hence, i would like to know how others perceive art and express it in their own styles. I would like to know what materials and techniques they used to create realistic and beautiful art. For example 3D pop art which changes when viewed from different angles. Visiting art galleries and museums can definitely help to expand one's perspective on art and knowledge on how art has evolved over the years. Hence, i can apply it to my own art and learning to be used in school or even in the future. I am often intrigued when visiting museums as the items will be shifted around and new ideas will come to mind. Not forgetting the different times of the past and the various antiques that no longer exist which never fails to amaze me. I like to visit the Singapore museum that is rich in culture and history of the past. Looking at artefacts or art pieces can be soothing and calming which i especially take pleasure in. Hence, visiting such places can be surprisingly beneficial and i would like to go.
(c) i do not agree with this as i feel if it were to be free, people would not take museums and art galleries seriously. When we pay to enter the museum or art gallery, it shows that the individual is actually interested in viewing the artefacts and art then which they are willing to pay a small amount just to view them. The museum or art gallery also needs to have a source of income to constantly keep the place maintained since that requires money too. When people pay to view the artist's art, it puts the artist's work in higher regard as people are spending to view. Hence imposing an entry fee would be durable to sustain the place while attracting people.

(a) No I would not. I think I would feel very uncomfortable if I were to join a dance class like the one in the video. Dance is a form of bodily and emotional expression. Hence, I wouldn’t enjoy the class as I might be too shy to dance in a large crowd and do it in an open space.
(b) I think exercise is important. Personally, my friends and I treat physical education lessons in school as a form of exercise. During p.e lessons, we try our best to engage in the games or fitness exercises as much as possible. Exercise is also a great form of stress relief from our hectic schedule in school and we enjoy it very much.
(c) Yes. While Singapore already has multiple government organizations like the Health Promotion Board to promote healthier living for Singaporeans, I still observed that many Singaporeans still stick to their sedentary lifestyles due to our hustle culture. From my own friend group and family, I have observed that most of them do not engage in exercise because they simply cannot find the time to do so. However, that is not true because exercise does not require a lot of time from our busy schedules and we can still work our bodies even without completing a full body exercise regime. Hence, I believe that the health promotion board can educate more teenagers and working adults about the importance of exercising daily, and share simple exercises that all Singaporeans can do

(a) If I were the people in the video I would feel very uncomfortable. This is because there are a lot of commuters in such a tight and cramped space. Everybody is force to stand close to each other which makes it very uncomfortable. There are also times when I am tired after a long day out and would want to sit but there are no seats available so I have no choice but to stand for the rest of the journey home. Sometimes there are also people in a rush to get to somewhere causing a lot of pushing and crowding.

(b) My favourite way to travel is by bus. As they are very convenient to travel in. Buses are usually able to reach specific places that MRT cannot reach. It is also usually not as crowded as taking the MRT. Hence, one of my favourite way is to travel by bus. Another one of my favourite way to travel is by private transport. This is because I am able to immediately book a car to get to the place I want without having to travel to the interchange. I can reach specific places right away. I just need to key in the address of the place and I can be there in a very short amount of time.

(c) I agree with the statement as I feel that city centres are especially busy especially during rush hours. So there would be a lot of cars travelling back and forth leading to an increase in the amount of pollution, causing harm to the environment. In addition, there are a lot of other ways of transport like bus and MRT. Secondly, pollution is hard to get rid of. Nowadays climate change is causing a lot of harm to the environment. Hence, we must take a step into helping the environment. We can take public transports to places instead. However, I also disagree with the statement that cars should not be allowed in city centres. As I feel that there are times where we are in a rush to get to somewhere but the bus is taking too long to come. Hence we would have no choice but to take cars instead. Cars also more convenient to travel in as we would not have to wait for the bus or train to come and can get to the place we need to be at right away.

a) I would join the dance like the one in the video. Firstly, the dance I saw in the video intrigued me, as I have never witness a style of dancing like the one i seen in the video, and I would like to try the dance out. The video of dancing has also taught me that dancing has many benefits, giving me all the more reason to try out the dancing in the video. Some benefits include relieving stress, and being more flexible. Lastly, I am also able to connect with other people, as I will not be dancing alone.

b) To me and my friends, exercising is really important. In fact, we exercise together on a regular basis, and enjoy doing so, knowing the many benefits it has. The main benefit is that through exercising, we are able to maintain a healthy lifestyle, as we are regularly moving our bodies, and making sure we are not lazing around. Another benefit is that through exercising, we are able to develop a mindset that probes us to push ourselves beyond our limits, and get better at exercising. For example, comparing my jogging timing from when I started jogging compared to now, I improved my timing by alot. This is important to us, as it not only makes us happy of our feats, but we also build a strong mindset and body.

c) I agree that more can be done to promote exercise in my country. In Singapore, I personally feel that majority of Singaporeans don't partake in exercises, especially the working class, who are too busy to have time to exercise. Knowing this, despite the government attempting to encourage exercising by building more exercise corners throughout Singapore, little has been done to actually probe Singaporeans to use those exercise corners.

Would you ever join in a dance like the one in the video? Why, or why not?

I will not ever join a similar dance in the video as i do not feel comfortable dancing in public with many people watching. There was once when i saw a similar event I saw many people watching them, I myself would also stand and watch them dancing. Thus, it will make me feel nervous and scared that I would make a mistake rather than feeling less stress which exercising is supposed to bring. I also would not want to join in a similar dance.
Another reason is because I am unable to freely choose the songs I would one the dance to, when i am interested in dancing
, i would choose a song that i enjoy or a song's choreography I enjoy. For example, I would try dancing some Kpop songs because i find the choreography cool and learnable for people who are inexperienced in dancing. Thus I would not want to join such a dance in the video as i have no freedom in choosing what kind of dance to what song i want.
The last reason why I would not want to join in such a dance is because i am rarely able to find other people closer to my age in the group dancing. Whenever I see such an event taking place, I would either see young children there dancing with their parents or people who are way older than me.Thus i would feel uncomfortable and awkward to be the odd one if i were to join in and dance

(b) How important is doing exercise for you and your friends? Why?
To me, I do not find exercise to be that important in my life, as i would spent most of my time studying on school days and doing my hobbies like drawing during my holidays. Thus, I would only exercise if i was invited by my friends to play some sports like swimming with them or when i feel like i am starting to gain weight.

However, to some of my friends, exercise takes up much of their time as they want to keep fit, sometimes going to the gym as many as 5 times a week. They would always plan on which muscle they should focus on for the day and spends around 2 hours in the gym, doing many unique sorts of weightlifting and other exercises I have never seen before.

(c) Do you agree that more could be done to promote exercise in your country? Why or why not?

I agree that more could be done to promote exercise as many working adults have a busy work schedule and most of them are unable to find time to take a break and exercise, and with fast food getting more popular due to their affordable price and fast prepare time, the health of working adults would worsen, thus i feel that exercise should be promoted even more to ensure that working adults are aware of the benefits of exercising and would put in more effort to find more time to exercise. Promoting exercises also opens up more opportunities for adults to exercise when they are free.

(a) I think that the people in the video are feeling very amazed and intrigued by the artworks there. The video shows people from all walks of life such as tourists or students on school excursions coming down to the arm museum to visit and explore the cultural and unique pieces os art. The vistors seem to be in deep thought and absorbed by the art pieces as they observe the artworks carefully while being guided by the museum tour guide. Besides their behaviour seen in the video, visitors who are interviewed about the art museum also show a great sense of excitement and anticipation for the art museum.

(b) I would be intersted in visiting art galleries and museum as I find the different art works interseting and would definatley more about the different cultures worldwide through the art gallery. Besides that, the artworks also convey different messages which the artist is trying to potray and I would be glad to be able to know what different artists are trying to convey to the world.

(c) I do not agree that people should not pay when visiting the art gallery as without the fees from visitors, the museum would have no source of funding or income and would not be able to do any further renovation or improvements that would it more appealing to tourists.

i think i would feel very uncomfortable if i was at a station or in the train as i would be squeezed around and pushed around and i personality do not like that feeling and it makes me feel very uneasy when this happens.after a long day of school ,i would definitely not want to be pushed around like that and it would be a very bad feeling.

by bus,it is very spacious and you will get your own space, there is many bus stops which also means many people will alight and it is easier to find seats after a long day of school i would be exhausted so having a seat to sit on would be very comfortable and would give me some time to rest along the way of the journey, furthermore the bus frequency is also very fast and it is also very convenient as bus stops are everywhere and the bus fairs is also inexpensive.

no i disagree tot his statement.cars are beneficial for many people as some people needs to travel from one side of the country to the other and it would be extremely time consuming if they need to take public transport as it stops alot at the bus stops or train stops, and chances of being late for their activities would be very high and hence reducing efficiency.furthermore if cars are not allowed in cities, during a case of an emergency there would be no vehicles to get things done and hence accidents and alot of problems will surface and thus leading to more problems.

(a) if I were one of the commuters, I would feel claustrophobic. Ever since I was young, I never enjoyed the company of having too many people surround me, it makes me feel uneasy. I get easily frustrated especially if I am unable to get to my designation with ease swiftly. On top of that, many commuters are also rushing from one point to another, hence there will be a lot of pushing and bumping into one another which is something I do not fancy. the area gets smaller and the crowds get bigger which will make my transportation experience unpleasant.

(b) one of my favourite ways to commute around Singapore is via public transport. Although it may get crowded at times, it is still an extremely effective and efficient mode of transport, especially when Singapore is such a small island. commuting from one end to another is not only fast but also enjoyable as there are different sights and sounds to view. Compared to private transport, public transport is not only cheap and efficient, but it is also cost-saving in the long run and reduces our carbon footprint.

(c) I can agree to a certain extent. first and foremost, cars emit toxic gases and chemicals that are harmful to our environment and the ozone layer in the long run. the downside of owning a car also comes from costly COE payments and the 10-year renewal scheme. besides that, cars are also toxic to our health as the exhaust we inhale could potentially cost cancer. however, these factors do not matter as much as our convenience. during rush hour, traffic would be extremely chaotic and unreliable if cars were eliminated. trains would be jam-packed and the rate of vehicle breakdown becomes higher. in any case, if there were to be a major vehicle breakdown, it will affect not only the commuters but also affect the economy as productivity rates will decrease. commuters headed towards the central business district will be most likely affected by the heavy traffic which can all be avoided if one were to own his or her own car or opt for private transport. hence, cars should not be entirely eliminated from the city just because. however, one way the government can encourage commuters to opt for public transport is by introducing fast waiting intervals between buses/ trains. that way commuters would not feel the rush and can commute in a safe and undisturbing environment.

(a) Would you ever join in a dance like the one in the video? Why, or why not?
I would like to join the dance in the video shown. The dance moves by those people seems quite interesting and i would be interested in picking up a new skill hence i think it is definitely worth giving it a try as i enjoy trying new and different things. I also think that this dance could be used as a good workout routine to help keep me fit and healthy as some of those dance moves do seem quite physically demanding.

(b) How important is doing exercise for you and your friends? Why?
I think that doing excercise on a regular basis is important in order to keep ourselves fit and healthy. Regular physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance. This is especially important in the long run, as regular and frequent workout routines could benefit us and our bodies greatly so that once we get old and we wouldnt face so much health issues. Besides, excercise is a good way to help one destress to and hence i think that it is important for me and my friends to do excercise

(c) Do you agree that more could be done to promote exercise in your country? Why or why not?
I think that more could be done to help promote excercise in my country. Due to most people being too busy with their daily lives these days, i think that most have forgotten that they still need to keep themselves fit beside working all day. From my own observations, most people these days do not take their fitness seriously and some dont even have a workout shedule. With most being too busy with their day-to-day lives, besides not setting aside enough time to excercise and live a healthy lifestyle, most do not even have a healthy diet, with some people relying just purely on fast food to get by. Hence i think that the country should indeed do more to promote a habit of excercising reguraly to help its population stay fit. However, it is not like that they have not done anything to promote a healthy lifestyle amonst the population. In the past they held campaigns such as one where they encouraged people to walk more than 10000 steps a day, and to motivate people to do so, they government would give out cupons and vouchers to those who reached that target. Recently, there has been an initiative where "gym pods" were being placed around singapore where people can conviniently excercise while on the go, these gym pods are being placed in places such as near office buildings and people housing units, this would give people an easy access to gym and workout facilities which hence helps to promote excercise in my country. It is important for the population to maintain a healthy lifestyle so that most people would not face health issues when they get old which may be a burden to some families, this is particulary in singapore which has an ageing population hence promoting a healthy lifestyle is extremely important to ensure a strong and healthy population. In conclusion, i think that the government could put in more effort in trying to promote excercise as it is really important and is worth investing time and money into.

a)I would like to partake in the dance activity as show in the video as I have low self-confidence, by partaking in such activities, I could build up more confidence as i interact with a larger circle of people.I would like to take part as i don't exercise often, by dancing, i will be in better shape and would be able to release stress.I would not take part as being in the final year of my secondary school life, I don't have much time to spend on taking part in the dance as shown in the video with the workload increasing in the second semester.
b)It is very important as with exercise, it will improve not only our physical health but also our mental heath by taking a break from studies or being addicted or overly attached to our phone 24/7 for people like me.It ism also important as by exercising with friends we would be able to encourage each other by interacting with each other and the competitive nature of not wanting to lose out to your friends, I would try to outrun my friends, hence exercise is a competition and a way to keep fit and is hence important.
c)I agree as in Singapore, we are expected to spend our time on studying and not on exercising. There is no balance in time spent on studying or exercising due to the long school hours ,CCAs, revision and homework taking a huge chunk of our time, hence by shortening the syllabus , students would have free time and could exercise during those periods of time.I disagree, as there are plenty of exercising ads shown in the television or in the HDB lifts promoting exercise oriented programmes held in the Community centres.

a) How would you feel if you were one of the commuters like the people in the video? Why?

If I was one of the commuters in the video,I would feel very suffocated and uncomfortable as I have a fear of crowded spaces as it feels like you are being forced to move where the crowd is going or if i was with my family and friends, we would lose each other easily in the crowd. Thus, unless i am rushing, I would always prefer to leave the train the latest so that I would not be one of the commuters in the crowd.

(b) What is your favourite way to travel around Singapore? Why?
My favourite ways to travel around Singapore is by train, as the trains always give a clear anouncement on what stop it is stopping to, this way I don't have to worry on whether I missed my stop or not.Trains are also more straight forward than other transport like busses. As long as i am clear on where to go, I do not need to find a specific number on the train to board, I can just find a nearby mrt map to find my way around to go to my destinstion
However, busses are better when it comes to the view, trains sometimes go through tunnels, which can really block the view, while busses give a clear view to all the passengers in the bus. Thus, I would always go on busses to travel within Singapore when am not in a rush

Some people say that cars should not be allowed in city centres because they are bad for the environment. What do you think?
I do not agree that cars should not be allowed in city centres as even though it is bad for the environment that does not mean it should be entirely banned.Cars is important during times of emergencies or when you need to rush for an important event. There was one time i was nearly late to an exam as I woke up late by accident, thus my mother drove me to school. If it was not for the car, I would not be able to make it on time for the car. Though I do agree that car usage should be reduced to protect the environment, banning it is unnessasury .

a)I would join the dance like the one in the video as i believe that it is a great opportunity to exercise, expand my social circle and have some fun.
Firstly,by joining that dance I am forced to exercise as i feel pressured by the peope around me who are keeping up with the intructor at the front hence i would not be able to make an excuse for my laziness and therefore be motivate to exercise.THus,i would be able to exercise and improve my health and lose weight for a healthy lifestyle rather than just idling at home.
Secondly,I can make new friends.Through the process of cardio latino,it seems that everyone would be dancing side by side in close proximity hence i think it can be an easy way to make friends and discover whether it would be a hobby where you can share with them and maybe even make a best friend through the process.
Thirdly,I am able to have some fun and it could even take all my stress away as i am simultaneously releasing stress while doing cardio.Hence,it can serve as my outlet to release stress while having fun .

b)I think doing exercise is very important for me as I do not want to be unhealthy and unfit.I pay attention to my health and would rather have a good stamina and a healthy lifestyle so i can do all then things i like .So that i would be fit enough to hike up hills, play the sports i love and keep in shape.Exercise to me is fun as my exercise mainy comes from the sports i play like floorball.IT is a passion hence it is important to me as it is something i want to do well in.
It is important to my friends as they too are concerned about their appearance and they do watch their weights strictly.Hence,by exercising it keeps them in shape and allows them to fit into the trendy style of clothes that were worn by their favourite artists.Exercise is also important for us as we do not want to fall sick, the fitter we are ,the less prone we are to getting diseases and sicknesses.BY exercising,it keeps us healthy enough to prevent cardiac arrests or high blood pressure or things that may affect our health negatively.
c)Thirdly,I agree that more could be done to promote exercise in my country. This is because, for example,us students at least have physical education periods during schooling hours, however, what about the adults and senior citizens.Adults are heavily packed into heir work schedule which leaves them no time to exercise being suck in their office all day.Whereas, senior citizens are seen to be left to idle at block void decks.Hence,I belive more could be done to promote exercise in my country.
However,i also do not think that more needs to be done to promote exercise in my country as there are advertisements on televisions already present to encourage us to drink a certain brand of supplement to for instance boost metabolism or protect one from a certain cough or flu.THere are also healthy food labels shown at hawker stores to encourage us to opt for the healthier choice of foodand even similar methods used at supermarkets showing us the lower calorie type of breead to purchase for our morning breakfasts.

a) I would feel extremely overwhelmed if I were one of the commuters. I would prefer my commuting journey to be peaceful without much human traffic in the morning. In the video, it was difficult to even stand at the platform without getting shoved to the front. That could also be extremely dangerous. The Mass rapid transit was introduced with the intention of a smoother traveling journey as the train services are frequent and efficient. If there is a huge crowd which causes huge congestion, I would not be able to arrive on my destination on time and that would leave me feeling extremely irritated.

(b) My favorite way of traveling around Singapore would be boarding the bus! Although it is a lengthier journey compared to taking the MRT or by car, I would take the bus if I am not rushing for time. Traveling on the bus allows me to admire the view and landscape of Singapore, without having to feel the fast-paced lifestyle of most Singaporeans. As the capacity of a bus is smaller, there will also be lesser commuters and it is much easier to find a seat! Bus fares are also comparatively cheaper than the MRT, which is a huge deal to me with the increasing transport fares.

(c) I disagree. As my family owns a car, i can say that owning a car does bring much convenience to everyone. Having a car means not having to squeeze in with all the crowd during peak hours when taking public transport, and having a car also gives you the comfort of having your own space. It is far more hygienic than sitting on seats in public transport, as their surfaces might not have been thoroughly cleaned. Having a car also means that you can travel to specific destinations which may be hard to navigate through a bus route or MRT map. You also do not have to worry about transport breakdowns or having to wait a long time for the next bus or train service. However, i admit that cars are indeed a huge cause of polluting the environment. As we all know, cars emit harmful gases like carbon monoxide in the atmosphere Which is a key contributor to our rising temperatures, known as global warming. Aside from air pollution, cars also contribute to noise pollution. As more and more people own cars in Singapore, traffic congestion also happens more frequently on our roads. This may cause certain drivers to be irritable while driving and honk while driving which affects everyone around them. Hence, I also agree that cars should not be allowed in city centres because they are bad for the environment.

Instead, I would rather play sports as a form of exercise as I find it more engaging and something that I like to do. I have also had some experience with zumba classes but I dreaded going there to dance with the trainers as I find it boring and embarrassing especially when strangers can just look at my clumsy moves, making the overall experience really dreadful. With all these factors, I would not join a dance class and would rather do other workouts as a form of exercise.

(b) I think that exercising is really important for me and my family. Exercising helps to keep me and my family active while also bonds our realationship closer. We would go to sports centres on the weekends to play badminton which was what we enjoy playing to have some fun while exercising and staying active in the process. Exercising is also very important for me as it helps me to distress from my studies .

(c) I agree that more could be done to promote exercise in my country. This could be because they are unfamiliar with this different culture.

b) I am interested in visiting art galleries and museums. Firstly, going to such places allows me to learn so much about other cultures and their history. I find it fascinating to see how many things originated and how they may have played a huge part of the developing world today. For example, historical museums which reflect upon the past and show how people lived in the past. Secondly, I think that these places are also visually pleasing. It could be visited purely for leisure or as a way to take a break from work. To me, the colours used by artists, such as Vincent Van Gogh are really therapeutic.

c) In my opinion, whether payment should be made compulsory for museums is dependent on many factors. Some museums or art galleries are meant for charity, in which case there should be payment to raise donations. There are also same organisations which aim to collect funds in order to save endangered species of animals. However some are also meant for pressing world problems such as global warming. These are held to raise awareness through attractive hands-on exhibitions. I think that in this case, entry should be free of charge since the main aim is to spread awareness and education.

s, I woul love to join in a dance like the one in the video as I find that it is beneficial for me to live a healthy lifestyle by doing this dance which is a form of exercise. I will also be able to make new friends by joining in this dance as it is open to the public and its also free! So more people are willing to come. I can also persuade my friends to come and join my to dance everyday so that they are also able to live a healthy lifestyle and not only that but to use this as an opportunity to destress themselves from all the studying.

b) Is is very important as it helps us live a healthy lifestyle. Alot of teenagers nowadays are eating alot of unhealthy food like fastfoods, inatant noodles etc. It is not wrong to eat these foods unless we exercise to keep our body fit and healthy.

c) Yes I agree that more can be done to promote exercising in our country. You can barely see people running in the parks nowadays other than old people who are actually concerned about their health. If people start to exercise well before hand they dont really have to worry about their health when they are old. The government can help promote this through posters advertisements etc.
