Mallory is a fierce advocate for gun control and women's and black women's rights. She is very strong and uses her personal experience to drive her. She is fearless when it comes to being in power and will speak her mind and stand for what she believes in no matter the audience. When coordinating the women's march, she fought for intersectionality despite the majority white group of organizers. When she realized how many black men were murdered and how this issue went basically unaddressed, she moved past the stigma around it and stood up against weak gun laws in the united states. The empowerment that she gains by always adhering to her causes is something that we should all learn from. While it might not always make her popular, it sure makes her powerful.
