I also thought that by the end of October she weighed 550 pounds. I was glad that her mom got to see her again. What I also thought was interesting was that the Cincinnati Zoo staff took care of her 24 hours and even snuggled with her!! What i also thought was interesting is that Mr. V chose this day to read it and today is the day before Fiona's birthday! Another thing I thought was interesting was that The zoo had raised other premature animals but not a hippo. Another thing I thought was interesting was that Fiona was lucky enough to be born in a zoo otherwise she would have probably died in her first night.

Fiona is know a very healthy hippo and that Fiona could not go to the big hippo pool so instead she swam in a kitty pool. when Fiona was born she could not walk. She had to have a tube go up here nose so she could breath she was not born like a normal hippopotamus. she needed to be cared for by humans. she could not drink here moms milk alone she had to have a formula with is in a baby bottle for animals. she was not old enough to drink milk straight from her mother. the zookeepers even snuggled with her at night to keep her warm zookeepers took care of her 24 hours a day that's a long time.
