My group chose to explain the life cycle of the mosquito. The life cycle of the mosquito and frog are very similar. Both start as eggs. Both develop in the water. Both live out of the water as adults. They do have a few differences. The mosquito has 4 stages in their life cycle. The frog as 5. Frog eggs are laid in a big groups while mosquito eggs can be laid individually. The final stage of the mosquito life cycle is like the cocoon of a butterfly. It hardens and splits open and an adult mosquito emerges. The frog simply grows legs and leaves the water.

The frog and butterfly both start as eggs. Next for the butterfly is the caterpillar stage. Then is the chrysalis stage. Last is the adult butterfly stage. The frog starts as an egg. Then becomes a tadpole. Next it is a tadpole with legs. Last is an adult frog.
