         <description><![CDATA[<div>1749 Alcubierre is promoted to lieutenant colonel. He gets an assistant and he appoints Karl Jakob Weber. In July 1750 he starts to work. There were tunnels that they didn't know where they came from but Weber cared more about how to get rid of them. The mosaic tile on the floor was important to Weber because it was interesting. He dug and found a  Villa, there he found scrolls that were called Piso's Library.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mount Vesuvius erupted again in November 1760. Weber wanted to make a book that explains the exact objects he found. He wanted to show how the Roman Empire lived.They could only find a little bit of stuff. Once they found a penny they moved on. They came upon cameo which is a small carving in stone, ivory, or shell, usually set against a stone of different color.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This chapter is about exploring Pompeii. They were excavating and found a Villa with a lot of paintings and statues. Next, Weber uncovered paved streets and public fountains and found little rooms from houses. After that, they found a lot of treasures, such as a golden Bulla. While at La Civita, some workers found a small painted panel. It shows objects associated with Dionysus, the Roman god of wine. Overall, they found many finds in Pompeii.</div>]]></description>

At the middle of the chapter, Winckelmann praises Weber for his work in the excavation site.&nbsp; In conclusion, the chapter was about Herculaneum's open air discovery after Weber died.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>They're so focused on the artifacts that they are not getting anything else out and when the court allows tourists into the excavation site they think it is a mess and they blame Alcubierre. The tunnels aren't very safe and they face dangers from cave ins to toxic gas. They find amazing places but they are so intent on finding artifacts that they bury everything else.    </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Chapter one is about a farmer who finds an artifact on his land, the rumor spreads to the countryside. At the same time a villa is being made for the new king. The king sends out a team on an expedition to Resina, they find little to no artifacts but they do know they are digging up Herculaneum. There also is a problem Alcueierre the head of the excavation is a military engineer, he has no excavation experience.</div>]]></description>
