For me it's distinguishing what is fake news and thus being a sensible internet user online. Nowadays, many people will buy products they don't need because of a single narrative perspective of a self-publisher, or to cyber-violence others. I don't want to be cheated or victimized. So it's important to have a rational perspective and critical thinking. With the development of self media, we are receiving many messages every day. Before we just accept it unilaterally, but now by knowing media literacy, we can accept new things online selectively.
I think truth does not really exist in human society. Because everyone's perspective and position are different, I don't think there will be truth.

Media Literacy is not believing everything you see and not letting your biases take hold of what is true or false. The internet allows news to spread faster and farther and allows for little fact-checking + people can write whatever they want about anything even if they don't have the credentials to do so.

Media literacy is "actively investigating and critically thinking about the information we receive and create". For now, media literacy is for me to be able to properly identify, locate and access information. Online media provides us with Self-expression, contact, and social discourse, these methods make them an indispensable part of our lives. This development makes the community more privacy risks and Internet temptations, and people need to gradually improve their awareness, skills and requirements.
