The shop of Wonka is tall and it has many potions and chocolates. You can fold(?) the set, and open the door. I think we can use wheels to move it.

The costumes are used as specific themes for certain character generas like poor or rich and ever nobodies.

First Scene

I really like the swirl like stairs the work as shelves for the candy store. I also really like how at the middle of the song, most of the scenery starts to appear. Making the staff light up would also look very intriguing.

The candy shop is very creative and has a lot of colors. The bed is also very tall and we would have to have a lot of people working on it because it has many details and it has 4 people on top of it in the play so we have to make it very secure.

They are definitely in abundance with using these props very specifically used for visual appeasement.

The props of this musical are mostly chocolate bars. We can make chocolates by using real ones or using Styrofoam by cutting it and wrapping it.

Their costumes are realistic, especially their wigs. Like the grandparents' wigs, they look realistic because they connect with their character.

We could make a wooden structure like for the stairs for the bed and use styrofoam as the mat so we dont buy one.We could use fabric for the cloth that they use as blankets which could also make it look like they are poor as they cant afford real blankets.

The lighting is used many times in the different scenes which is defiantly on purpose like the blue and white which represents different mood throughout the broadway like sadness and joy.

Everything is very old and isn't new, and it is broken and ugly. There are a lot of old and ugly clothes as well as a tempurate thing to make sure everything is warm. The foundations need to be strong because there will be 4 people on the bed.

Paper Airplane

When Charlie throws the paper airplane, it flies up. I think we can connect the paper airplane with a transparent string. So, someone can be up in the catwalk and pull the string when Charlie throws the plane.

The different ideas that they take inspiration from is not from the current movie however takes most inspiration from the old broadways of the same broadway, a comedy show and some inspiration from the current broadways.

The background light effects

We could use Flexible sensory pops as they are flexible and we could make them look like sausages with decoration. This is a good idea as small versions of these can be compressed to look like they are getting eaten and they are not too expensive.

I really like how much they act while singing when Charlie finds the golden ticket and how Grandpa Joe stands up after everyone thought he couldn't walk.

When Charlie gets the golden ticket we could use a gold light to make the light shine of the gold ticket into Chalie's face and make him react more than in the play we are watching.

The pacing of the story is a mix of fast and slow in it's story telling which is kinda refreshing but then again is now a little common but back at this time is new compared to other movies.

Coordination is definitely on point for the special effects and characters.

I really like how all of the characters that were invited to the chocolate factory disappear in a matter of seconds when smoke appears right at the final note of the song.

The smoke is really nice to allow for a scene change and act finish.
