Come before him with shouts of joy!

(3) Know that the LORD is God-- he made us; we belong to him. We are his people, the sheep of his own pasture.

(4) Enter his gates with thanks; enter his courtyards with praise! Thank him!

The Doxology is a short hymn of praise to God that we sing each Sunday during worship. Grab or create your favorite instrument and praise God by singing along! The song says "Praise Him all creatures..." I wonder how all creatures (plants, animals, insects) could praise God? How does this song fit in with Psalm 100?

Stopping and Thinking

Listen to the YouTube video, “Stop and Think.”

In the video, you heard good behaviors and bad behaviors. Which behaviors would God like us to practice? But sometimes the bad behavior jumps up. Think about and talk about these questions:

· Have you ever done something wrong?

· Why do you think you did it?

· What would have been the right thing to do?

Always remember, choices we make can be bad, but that doesn’t make us bad people. We just have to stop and think, “What would have been the right thing to do?”

Think about how you could do something good for someone, such as, picking up trash, taking flowers to someone, weeding a garden, or helping an older adult clean up their yard. Maybe you have some other ideas. Pick one or two and put them to work. See what happens! You might want to even draw a picture of one of the things you did and hang it on the wall in your room. This will help you remember what the PROVERBS were all about!

Join us for a very special brunch on Sunday, November 10 at 11:15 AM in our Fellowship Hall. This is a specially designed ALL AGES Bible study time where all generations will share in a table top Bible study designed by Pastor Carolyn. The model was developed as the culmination of her Christian Education Certification process and uses a specially designed fabric mat with interactive portions of the lesson. Pastor Carolyn even took this model to Scotland with her and taught it at her friend’s Wednesday evening Gathering with God program! Sign up to attend on the Narthex Bulletin Board or by emailing https://tinyurl.com/42h5w82v with your name and how many will be attending with you. This is open to anyone that you might want to invite and we especially invite those who are engaging in our Christian Formation Hybrid units on our padlet online.
