In most work environments "low level" employees aren't always working with their boss but instead with shift leaders/managers. These are the people who have the most interactions with both "low level" employee & boss. Since they have more interaction they're able to have a bond with both parties. With my experince of being the middle man of communication I learned that I had a purpose for my title. I learned that people trusted me with their issues and it was my job to help find & communitcate with higher management to help resolve the issue.
