Although the vaccines may help decrease the chances of falling very ill to the virus, we cannot rely on this forever. The endemic will last for a very long time, and the virus will only mutate and evolve further and become much more deadlier. And relying on the vaccines is only one way, what happens if the resources to create these vaccines run out? What happens when the vaccines are unable to protect us anymore? So while Singapore is powerful for now, the future may not be the same, and there isn’t much I can do about it. I reckon the number of cases will continue to rise despite the measures kept in place. Singaporeans are getting short-changed during these tough times. The severity of the confirmed cases published may not be of actuality.
