Praise: I like to use Trello. It is a great way to create multiple lists with due dates for each item. I can take notes on all items. I can also assign different lists or items to team members.

Question: What are your key steps for follow through? It is common that projects get started but lose steam and don't always end up fully realized.

Polish: We are not a Google school, we are just launching 365 and I would like to better understand how to utilize the tools collaboratively. In my previous experience it has felt clunky and complicated.

Praise: I try to stay hyper-organized. My inbox is similar to a to-do list. Everything in the inbox is something that I need to do or respond to or reference in the near future. I archive everything else. Usually it's under 20 emails! This helps me respond to things quickly and not let things slip through the cracks. My documents on my computer are super organized too which saves a lot of time finding things.
Question: I can get distracted from long-term projects by smaller things that need to get addressed. I like to get things off my to do list so much that I'll often focus on long-term projects only once everything else has been cleared out (I was also the person who would clean my dorm room to avoid studying - productive procrastination).
Polish: My Google Drive has gotten out of control. Anything new that goes in gets organized, but the initial import of all my stuff came through so jumbled that I still haven't sorted it.

Praise: I like our new helpdesk ticketing system from Freshdesk. It has enabled us to use it currently for both tech and facilities, gives me a large amount of data points I can use for any number of arguments ( need more of X, less of X ) and the add-on apps are useful as well. ( TeamViewer and Zoom are two we currently use )

Question: How do I go about finding time to have team retreats? Even a half day seems to be too much for the org to handle without us.

Polish: I saw Eli going over Trello, and I think it has a plug in/add on for our new helpdesk ticketing system I want to try out! So I would want to "polish" Freshdesk a little by adding that to it.
