  • Each student will quietly be dismissed by table to get a laptop/Chromebook 
  • Next, they will login and pull up Emaze using this link: http://www.emaze.com/@AORFCTTZQ/areavolume 
  • Have each student will wait till everyone is setup and ready to go.
  • The teacher will refresh the student on what is area and volume before starting the assignment
  • Make sure the students know to read each slide and use the “Click Me” to complete the activity before moving on
  • When all the students get to the final challenge have them stop and wait for everyone else to get finished.
  • The student will then login to Kahoot.it and wait till the teacher gives them the Pin Code: 479366
  •  Students will put in their first name and first name only for the Kahoot’s nickname unless its verified by the teacher
  • The student will be put to the test to quickly and accurately get the correct answer without guessing
  • Once finished each group will be dismissed by table to put their laptop/Chromebook away

  •  For special needs learners I will give additional time for them to complete their work so they don’t have to feel like they are rushed
  • I will make sure that the student receives as much attention as I can give

  • For students who don’t speak English, I will break down the assignment slowly and carefully so that they understand what we are doing 
  • Use visuals to show them what to do
  • For them not to feel uncomfortable I will pair them up or put them in groups, so that the students can also help and interact with the student 
  • Use lots of motions to demonstrate to the student
  • I will define the topic in their native language

  • I will include a hands on project for them by having them make a house and finding the area and volume for that house. Then have them find the cost, area, and volume of a paint can to paint the house.
  • Have the students make there own quiz for other classmates.
