Students may choose to create a display or poster about the author and his works and insert quotes or photos that have meaning to them. They may choose to put on a play acting out a scene from a part of the book. They may also write an opinion piece about one or more of the books and or do a compare and contrast essay about the author’s books. Students could also give a speaking presentation about what they have learned. Students may work in pairs or up to 4 students in a group. This would help learners of various strengths and abilities. Students that need technology to help them read or access the content would be provided with those resources. Students will be assessed on their culminating project as well as a multiple choice worksheet and oral quiz.
