In an interview in August 2012, she answered that the U.S. food system is being treated as a tool for agribusiness and market share, instead of for what they actually are meant for. And also, many of our current donations are being used for unhealthy industrialized food systems. On her 2012 presidential campaign website, Stein supported a jobs creation program which included opportunities in "sustainable organic agriculture."
