         <description><![CDATA[<div>(a) Mass and weight are two very different things, not to be confused with each other. Mass is the amount of matter in an object, while weight is the measurement of the downward force acting upon a mass. Mass does not change, no matter which planet you are on. Weight can be calculated by multiplying the object's mass(kg) by its acceleration(m/s squared). (b)Weight(but not mass)changes on different planets, because different planets have different gravitational pulls. (c)The reason different planets have different gravitational pulls is because they have different masses. The greater the mass of a planet is, the greater its gravitational pull is, and the lesser the mass of the planet, the lesser its gravitational pull.</div>]]></description>
