The children have been invited to Belville Community Gardens, to participate in the launch of their outdoor learning sessions. These free sessions will be offered monthly, starting Thursday 26^th October at 10am-11.30am. 

As it’s outdoor learning,  the children will attend the session dressed in nursery waterproof suits and their wellies. 

The children will be supervised by the nursery team during the play session and walking to/from the venue. We plan to leave nursery at 9.30am and return by 11.30am. The annual consent form which you have completed and returned, now covers all local trips.  

It would be great if we could have some parent/carer helpers to come along. Please let the team know if you are available or should you require any further information. 

 

Weekly Stay and Play Sessions - These session are a great opportunity to see your child’s play and learning. 

 

Please check your child’s spare clothes bag regularly and top up when required. Can you please ensure that all clothes are named as many children have similar/ same clothing items.

 

Hoping you are all safe and well. I have written numerous letters home to you but this is without doubt the most difficult of them all! It is with a heavy heart that I have to share with you, that I will leaving the nursery at the end of October. I have been offered the opportunity to be Head of Nursery within another Local Authority. 

It has been a privilege getting to know you and I wanted to thank you for all your support, as parents you play a crucial role in the nursery. We could not have lead and implemented the positive changes without your commitment.  You have actively voiced your opinions, shared your concerns and worries but most importantly of all, we have laughed and celebrated success together.  

I’ve appreciated the opportunity to be part of your children’s lives and I know I will miss them all.  I am particularly going to miss all my daily smiles and cuddles from my ‘little friends’, who have all genuinely touched my heart. I have wonderful memories that will stay with me forever.

We are keen for adult helpers to support us on our trip to Bellville Gardens on 26^th October. We aim to leave the nursery at 9.30am and return for 11.30am.
