a) Coke's biggest marketing skill is that they have a lot of different company's and that Coke has Holiday/Christmas decorations, 'free coke', and a great selling coke was when names were put on the coke bottles and they could be e.g: Grace, but also not just 'Grace', but also 'Mum or Dad and Mate' were put on the bottles, and that was the biggest selling coke bottle for over 70 countries.
b) Coke needs these marketing skills because if they did not have them then they would not have succeeded and if they do not succeed then the company will not have any money left and will have to make either a new company or go and do something else.
c) They make different types of Coke like if they are on a 'diet' they might want the 'Diet Coke' and if they are trying to avoid sugar they get the 'Coke Zero' and there are also other ones like Vanilla, Caramel, Cherry, and Normal Coke. Like for other countries in their ads have, e.g: Australia has normally a beach scene and have a coke with them and it makes the viewers want a refreshing drink with them when they go to the beach. ;)

1) I believe Coca Cola's greatest marketing skill is ADVERTISING. The company spent $4 billion dollars on it which is 10% of their revenue. If the marketing coordinators at Coca Cola have enough courage and confidence in spending that much money on ADVERTISING, that probably would be the business's best marketing skill.

2) Coca Cola doesn't just need the skill of ADVERTISING to compete in the marketplace, they need other skills like customer service and many other skills. They need these skills so buyers of the brand will trust them and become consistent buyers which will help immensely with the companies profit/income. If Coca Cola does't use these skills they will either lose customers and profit/income but also, buyers will lose their trust in the brand.

3) Coca Cola have many varieties of the brand such as 'Diet Coke' 'Coke Life' and 'Coke Zero'. That helps increase the amount of buyers because someone could hate 'Coke Zero' but love 'Coke Life' so having that variety of flavours definitely helps the brand with profits. Coca Cola can't improve their drinks easily but they can improve on good customer service, how well they advertise the brand and who, what, and how fast they deliver the drinks to. Coca Cola will learn from their mistakes by reading customer reviews and making changes to whatever the customer is complimenting/complaining about. Coca Cola promises a lot of things to consumers, they say it will get rid of your thirst and many other things. When consumers see this ad or brochure or anything promoting those promises the consumer will buy the brand and either like it, because the promises they said were true, or dislike it because the promises they said were not true. But all of that is up to the consumers opinion on the drink.

Keeping up is key to selling a product.
Q2. They need these sort of skills to be up with their competitors eg. pepsi. If they don't have great advertisements to let their consumers know about their new product they will fall behind in the market place.
Q3. Coke is able to satisfy the needs of the public by doing surveys to find out the popular trends. Also using social media and the internet let them know what is popular.

1) I consider one of coca-cola's biggest marketing skill to be advertising. Like the video said they spent $4 billion dollars on advertising. Therefore that is why I think that their greatest marketing skill is advertising.

2) I think that coca-cola needs this skill to compete in the marketplace because if they didn't advertise no one would find out about their drink. However just because advertising is probably their best skill it does not mean it is their only skill or the only skill they need to be able to compete in the marketplace. Coca-cola needs many skills to be successful, like: customer service and transportation, these are not the only 3 though there are many others.

3) Coca-cola has quite a few different varieties of coke. For example they have different types: diet coke, coke zero, coke light, caffeine- free diet coke and just original coke. They also have different flavours, such as: cherry and vanilla. This is one way that the brand satisfies the needs of the consumers, by having a wide range of flavours and types

Q1) Coca-Cola's enticing method of ads being played has increased their chances of getting their brands sold. Coke ads are intriguing and complex telling more then what you see on the silver screen.

Q2) Coca-Cola's leading expedition of their ads was to attract more customers into buying their product. Coke has a lot of competition meaning they need good advertising skills such as their LARGE red logo COCA-COLA. Coca-Cola keeps the same logo meaning that people from 70 years ago would recognise it.

Q3) Coca-Cola are adapting to consumers wants. Believing that Coke has a feedback page they would constantly be cheeking if customers liked that product or they want it improved.

1) I think coke's greatest marketing skills are the ability to make a "happy lifestyle" feeling from their ads that is considered fun, relaxing, etc, and creating a easy-to-remember logo that is recognizable anywhere. Coke also puts there name everywhere to branch out to people to by there drink.

2)Coca - Cola needs these skills to survive in the marketing business because they are making coke more "interactive/fun", therefore increasing popularity of Coca-Cola by doing so. They also need these skills to get more people to buy there drink by advertising everywhere, and to not be challenged by other soft drink makers.

3) Coca-Cola is able to satisfy needs and wants by heavily distributing their product and adding new flavours to the coke range. If you want a coke, you could go to a 7-eleven and buy one, but a new watch? That'd be hard to find at 7-eleven. they also have other flavours, for instance, Diet coke. Diet coke was not very popular at first, due to lacking "Coke taste, " son Coke responded with Coke Zero, which has no sugar but taste exactly the same. From there the company has shaped itself for the people, with seven different flavours available.

With a broad spectrum of audience to market Coke has cleverly covered most bases, resulting in constant growth and returns for the company.

Q1) I believe that Coca Cola's best marketing strategy is their ability to create advertisements that customers will see and then associate the drink with happiness and fun. They spend 4 billion dollars on different types of advertising, such as hashtags and video adverts, each year. They sell personalised types of coke and people find it so cool that word of mouth becomes yet another of coke’s advertising strategies.

Q2) They need these skills of different types of advertising to keep ahead of their rivals, eg. PepsiCo (Pepsi). If they do not let their customers know about their new products, like 'share a coke' and personalised coke bottles, then they will fall behind and consumers will go to the bigger company.

Q3) Coca Cola's diverse range of product has been developed over years to suit a variety of different people, such as the younger generation and the new focus on a healthier lifestyle. What began as a high sugar drink (Coca Cola Classic), was adapted and a new drink, diet coke, was created. Diet coke didn't sell as customers said it didn't taste like real coke. So then coke took this feedback and created coke zero, which has zero sugar and still tasted like the classic Coca Cola. Then their bottle size decreased as well as customers said it counted as too many kilojoules of their diet. So as said above, Coke have adapted their product to suit the healthy eaters. Coke have also started social media pages and introduced a coke emoji so the new generation can still receive adverts as they are on their phones a lot. As coke have a very large consumer variety they have o take on new challenges, but so far have had huge success on the products they have varied.
