I don't think violence can ever be justified because if you have to resort to violence to be free from oppression, then that means you are no better than the oppressors. There is always a peaceful alternative in every situation.

I think Violence is the answer against oppression because oppression is a force against a person or group. If you use violence as a form of protest against something like oppression it is ok. This is because if you don't use violence and you're peaceful maybe the protest won't go as far. If there are violent protests there will be lots of media attention and popularity. If you choose to remain peaceful other civilians will think it's just another protest happening. If your protesting something serious like oppression than it is ok to do so.

In some situations violence might be necessary to stop oppression because some people don't want to listen to others pleads to stop oppression and ignore their request causing people to become violent and angry. This anger happens when people don't listen to others request and pleads believing that those people don't matter turning them violent or when others use violence in turn to others violence

At the same time people have to be careful since the people that your trying to make a change to might over use their power that they having and actually hurt someone when all their trying to do is make a good change in their community.
